Guest guest
Hi Claudia, >It's good to hear that you may be feeling some sensations of the K at work in you! can still respond, of course, but I'll jump in here and say in regards to karma...do you mean, can one do something good in a past life that will cause him/her to 'earn' K awakening in this life? Thank you for your response and I am referring to karma in this life but can see where we could have a carry over from the past life because I liked to have very deep, philosophical conversations since being a teen and think this could be a carry-over and still have these conversations with people who are on a similar level. Kind regards...Angelina , Claudia <newtfoodbowl wrote: > > Hi Angelina! > > It's good to hear that you may be feeling some sensations of the K at work in you! can still respond, of course, but I'll jump in here and say in regards to karma...do you mean, can one do something good in a past life that will cause him/her to 'earn' K awakening in this life? I don't think that's how it works; however, has said that if you become K active in one life, you carry over a tendency to awaken in the next life (I think that is correct). But in every life, you have to follow certain practices to make it happen. > > How is your practice? Are you doing the Safeties and the Tibetans? Are you in service to others? These are the things that 'beckon' Shakti to release the Holy Fire in us. If you are doing these things daily, then you can interpret the fluttering and warmth as the K at work in you! > > Blessings & love to you, > Claudia > > Angelina De Luca <gypsyeyes_101 wrote: > Dear Chrism, > > >The path illuminated here is one of personal diligence. Guest guest
I think most certainly that Karma in this life has much to do with our path! We are called to do selfless service for others. If we are consistently doing this, we will reap the rewards. However, if we are doing it for ego based reasons, such as praise and adulation, I think that we take two Karma steps forward and one back. If we are doing some service but kicking the neighbor's dog as we leave for work, I see it the same way. I believe that everything we do is like a pebble in a lake. The ripples continue on long after the action is done. Just my ten cents!
