Guest guest
Thank you my dear friend Sarita, for the support and the love! It really is about the growth in me! I now understand why I must express my spirituality at this time. It isn't only for my sake, but also for the sake of others as well. Every Sunday the chaplain invites anyone who wants to come to the altar to come and no one ever does, so before service I asked a few of the people that I feel close to let's go up when it is time, to use it for thanks, whatever and they said okay. Well one of them didn't seem like they wanted to go so I didn't pressure her. When it came time I was the first one to go and I grabbed the two that said they would go, well believe it or not the other person came up and so did another person who really loves to spread the good news. After service one of the people who didn't go to the alter asked me why did I need to go up to the altar and I told them I needed to give thanks for all that I have and all that I will have, to simply thank God for filling me with the Holy Spirit and I really don't think he knew what to say! Many people think if you need a prayer or need to go to the altar something is wrong. I don't agree! So this is about me leading and guiding and gathering to learn and grow spiritually. Thanks again Sarita! Love, Katherine Sarita <sarita1969 Sunday, November 11, 2007 7:05:39 PM Re: I believe I might If anyone is ready for them Kat, it's you! This is all a test of your faith and determination. It sounds to me like they are envious of your experiences, perhaps they have never seen real evidence of God. That is very sad and we should sympathize with them. I know that you will rise above this and follow your path! Hugs!
