Guest guest
Hi All, I am surprised at how we had to deal with two antagonistic members in just a couple of days. I wonder if we aren't supposed to learn some kind of collective lesson through this. Perhaps we should consider incorporating a brief meditation on peace and acceptance in our daily spiritual practice--not because we necessarily need it as individuals, but because the world as a whole seems to need it badly. Guest guest
Aw, I think Shakti just wants to see if the moderators are awake. Good job, btw!!! And right on top of things! To me it just contrasts how really loving this beautiful community is, and how brightly your light shines in the night sky. Its a gift to come here, and some just aren't ready for that gift yet. Guest guest
I agree, there are lessons in everything. I hope we have touched joe/danny in some positive way. Maybe he will realize some things when he cools down. I like your idea of taking some time out daily. The world surely needs it, there are so many misguided and hostile people who could use our thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Sel, I will love to join you in a meditation for peace and acceptance in our daily spiritual practice and for the world because we could always use a moment of silence regardless. Thank you for recognizing the need and bringing it forward. Much love to you! Guest guest
Well said, Dhyana. I was thinking along the same vein. I guess we needed to remember that. I have been somewhat taking the joy and love of this place for granted, like it will always be here ( I hope it will) and the other stuff doesn't exist. I wish... Yes, good job, moderators and for everyone for staying calm for the most part (I know some major buttons were pushed and I did NOT like seeing my friends treated like that). You tried to help Joe see the other perspectives and tried to open his heart but like you said, maybe he isn't ready for that kind of gift yet. I love you all, even more than ever. This is a blessed place. Valarie
