Guest guest
I had a thought last night that was super splendid that I would like to share with you and ask for prayers that it will happen. As I was driving over to the mainland to look for an artificial Christmas Tree, I was thinking about my nonprofit, Brighter Tomorrows, Inc., which by the way has been incorporated. I was trying to think of something that I could do for the clients who attend the " Daily Bread " soup kitchen for a meal. Suddenly a thought came to me of how wonderful it would be to be able to come up with the money to buy each client a brand new outfit i.e. underwear, socks, shoes, pants, shirts, and jackets for Christmas, not something used as they are used to getting. To be able to wrap each piece of clothing up and put their names on it and give it to them to open on Christmas Eve after a short story of the birth of Jesus Christ's birth. I invisioned the looks on their faces as their names are called to get their gifts, a gift for them to open. How long it has been for most to have the opportunity to receive a gift that they are the first owners of, a gift to open, a present for them. I started praying and thanking God for it and talking to Shakti to help where she can and now I come to you to ask you for a prayer to help this come to life. I also challenge a call of service to you to go to a shelter, a soup kitchen, a home for domestic violence, etc. and ask for one name and give that one person something special for Christmas. We have a month to make this happen so WE pray for all of us to accomplish our wish to help those who do not have a home or don't have anything. May Peace come to you my dear friends and the Holidays be Merry! Love, Katherine

Guest guest
I am trying to find a way that will give them a Holiday they haven't had in a really long time. Most people including myself focus on the little ones and we forget about the older ones. I want to start including them as well! I want to give them something to let them know that someone cares! I love doing this and it is a wonderful feeling! I wish we could end homeless situations, THAT would be wonderful! Thanks again for your love Linda! Guest guest
What a beautiful suggestion. What a beautiful thing to do. Kat, no one ever has to wonder what kind of person they will see, once they get to really know you. For we can all see clearly, right through your beautiful heart. I am so very thankful to have you in my world. You give color, to this gray world. You give life, to what has died, and hope to what's been shattered. I will pray for your cause, and offer a prayer of thanks for your lovely presence, as well. Thank you for all that you do,and for the stories you share with us. With much love, Tara >Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: > Oh, and yes it is incorporated but we still have a LOT of paperwork to >complete!
