Guest guest
Sweetheart, I don't want money sent to me! I want all of us to go into our own towns just like you are doing and give, give, give! I agree with you that teaching our kids is important! Everyone has a soup kitchen or something local to them! That is what I want! This is a campaign to help those all over the world and we can do that by donating to those who need it! If it sounds like I want donations, I do apologize because I don't! I had just come up with the idea and I thought I would share it with all of you to do the same in your area! I am excited that you are able to do that Sarita and to teach Alex, right? This is our the K-ampaign! All I want and wanted are prayers, prayers, and more prayers and to win the lottery! Thanks anyway my sweet Sarita! I am excited that you are joining in the K-ampaign. Hee, hee! Like my new way of spelling? Love, Katherine Sarita <sarita1969 Sunday, November 25, 2007 4:54:57 PM Joining in on Christmas Charity - Kat & Group Today my hubby and I explained to Alexandra (who will be 3 next month) that there are children out there who have no toys. We asked her if she would like to give some of her stuff to another little girl so she would have some toys. She happily went through all her stuff and we ended up with 4 bags full of books and toys to donate! I intend to encourage her to do this every year. We are lucky in that our families are very generous with her. While we are having financial difficulties ourselves, I know there are many out there going through rougher times than us. I think it is really important to instill the gift of giving in small children. It can spur a lifetime of caring about others. So Kat, while I can't offer to send money for your cause I wanted you to know that your generosity is inspiring. Sarita ______________________________\ ____ Be a better sports nut! Guest guest
Hey, I like that! K-ampaign! Very cool term. Sorry Kat, I didn't mean to insinuate that you were asking for money but wanted to express my support for what you are doing and my desire to help. I wish I could do more and donate money, etc, but I can't right now. I will do what I can for now and when I am on my feet again, will gladly donate some funds to a good cause. I just think what you are doing for these people is so wonderful, it brings tears to my eyes! Sarita , Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: > > Sweetheart, I don't want money sent to me! Guest guest
That's okay my sweetie, I just wanted to make sure it didn't sound like that because I didn't want it too! MOST importantly my dear sweet friend thank you for your support and your love and thank you for all that YOU do for everyone already! I was so excited when the idea came to me I wanted to share it and so of course I posted it and sometimes when I am excited about something I don't convey what it is I am exactly saying so I just wanted to confirm that's all! No biggie! You want to know something funny! I have never really liked asking people for help or for money in any form or fashion and now look at what I have chosen to do! One day when we are finished with all the paperwork I will have to go out and ask! I don't know how easy it will be, but if it isn't at first then I hope it will get easy or at least easier. My darling don't worry, I know that because you do support what I am doing that you would simply because you wanted to and not because I asked that you would and I appreciate it a GREAT deal. I didn't think anything of it, I just wanted to offer a challenge, which after I wrote it I realized I had chosen the wrong word, but I do like K-ampaign, really cool! If one day you feel you can and you want to donate money that will be great, while at the same time know that your support and prayers are HUGE to me! LOL! Keep'em coming, all of it is working! Yippee! I am so proud of you for teaching you little one now because the younger you start the more willing she will be when she is older, and of course the more conscious she will be of what others don't have, keep it up! Thank you! Do please say a prayer for the possibilities though! It ain't Christmas yet and so that means the " Fat Lady hasn't sung " ! You my dear sister keep up the GREAT work you are doing!
