'Out of body girl'

lies still-like..in her bed.

Focusing on shifting her awareness..

to her spirit form..instead.

With eyes closed, she envisions darkness.

The most blissful, serene nothingness.

An endless, sea-like sky.

To get there, she will try.

Focusing her mind on her vision.

At last, she executes her mission.

A wonderful, sensation of floating sets in.

Her out-of-body adventure, begins.

Slow breaths, seem to raise the spirit..she feels more and more light.

At last, she lifts up from her body, and drifts off..into the night.

Oh, what a dreamlike world.

Whisperingly, she sings.

For even the wildest of imaginations, could not dream up these things.

Comparable with nothing, but the nighttime sea.

Such a strange shade, of hazy, blackish green.

An atmosphere, so very different, from any place back home.

With intriguing curiosity, she explores it..on her own.

With no propeller, and without wings.

She doesn't need these kinds of things.

A realm of breathtaking, sereneness.

Floating in a sea of energetic bliss.

Passing chalk-colored spirits, who seemingly glide.

Without effort, as if pulled along, by the tide.

Struggling to use her legs.

Wanting to get out of their way.

Forgetting for a moment, how spirit beings..must move about.

She looks down and remembers..that legs and feet..she is without.

Requiring no physical form, to create motion.

Non-physicality moves, by way of intention.

Remembering, she chooses to be out of it way.

Suddenly it is so..she's learned a new lesson today.

Experiencing creation, with a different form.

Loving the ability, to temporarily transform.

Wishing to be home, she makes the transition.

Remembering.. she moves, by way of intention.

Back in her body, she feels the warmth..of her soft bed.

Sometimes it's nice to experience simple physicality instead.

Out-of-body girl, sleeps snugly..back in her physical realm.

Soft wind, rustles the leaves of a nearby elm.

An atmosphere echoing a twilight instrumental..the crickets' symphony.

Soothing..it lulls her into peaceful sleep..as she contemplates this mystery.

Very nice Tara,

That was me last night actually, I decided to do a

meditation just before bed that seemed to do something

energetic to me, I did my finger lock and my fingers

became glued together, my eyes were up and then I felt

as if I would leave my body, I wanted to. But, alas, I

didn't fully complete the leaving my body behind, I

felt as if for a moment I had but then I fell asleep

and do not remember anything. Hubby woke me up as I

was making strange noises, something was chasing me.

A funny night really,

Thanks again for the poem,

Love Elektra x x x
