Guest guest
Hey everyone, Time to think ahead if you will fast during the next Shaktipat. Chrism has told us before a one day fast on the first day of Shaktipat, or a three day fast, finishing with the first day of Shaktipat is best. If you do the three day fast, munch on only root vegetables the first two days. Look at the safeties for some ideas. I manage to get by on potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, a little garlic, ginseng and occasionally a bit of ginger. Lots of choices and it's only two days. I cook up some sweet potatoes to have during the day, along with some carrot sticks. Third day only water... I know others will allow themselves watermelon or some other foods, see what's right for you! I think the fast makes the Shaktipat experience a little more special for me and helps set my intention for the period in more than one way. I hope those who can squeeze in a fast have a great experience! Be well, Bradly @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Some of Chrism's words on the subject: For optimum results Let the twenty first day be the one day or the third day of a fasting spiritual personal retreat for you. If you can safely do this. If you are sensitive to sugar levels (hypoglycemic) then don't do this. Only if you can safely do it. The Shakti will come regardless. - Just some thoughts - blessings to you all - chrism Make sure that if you faste that you can do so without medical danger to yourself, and if you do the three day faste that you commit yourself to much prayer and meditation and a strict focus upon the practice as this can put it into a stronger form. blessings all - chrism

Guest guest
Dear Chrism, I am not sure I am clear on the days of fasting ~ is it a good idea to fast three days before the Shaktipat? Do you know how we will know when our energies are activated? Does it manifest in different ways for different people? Kind regards...Angelina , " Anne " <annicole72 wrote: > > sounds good. > > Anne > > , " curball2002 " > <curball2002@> wrote: > > > > Hey everyone, > > > > Time to think ahead if you will fast during the next Shaktipat. > > has told us before a one day fast on the first day of > > Shaktipat, or a three day fast, finishing with the first day of > > Shaktipat is best.
