Guest guest
Hello Sand, Please develop your personal discipline. Let your intention for this to occur supersede anything else. Dedicate your life to it and be willing to surrender to it completely. Follow the safeties and partake of the Shaktipats. Do not waiver in your discipline or intentions or practice. If you cannot adhere to these techniques and systems then perhaps the path as given here is not for you. - blessings Sand - chrism

I have had a brief look at the safeties and they seem to be fine. I'm not sure which meditation you use though, as I couldn't open the link to that section. My own practice is, in fact, one of " surrender " . I used the breath as an object until I gained first Jhana. Then I understood the process of 'release' and rode that right through the next three Jhanas and beyond. This is how I meditate - without object, expectation or clinging. Just releasing. As a Buddhist, I do not have a God that I worship, rather I regard all things as play of the mind arisen from the state of non-duality. It is similar to the Kashmiri Shaivite philosophy, but even more stripped-down, with as little 'intellectualisation' as possible. My interest in kundalini stems from the fact that I once experienced the full force of it, but I was not at a spiritual level which would have enabled me to become awakened. It was a one-off. It was about 20 years ago in the dream state and was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, so having brought my meditative practice to where it is today I am keen to re-discover this phenomena. I will have a deeper read of the information you present and perhaps ask some questions, if that's okay, so that I may have a clearer idea of how your system works. As you say, I need to develop my discipline. I'd just like to make sure I have it clear in my mind before I launch myself at it :-) Namaste Sand
