Guest guest
Space Weather News for Dec. 23, 2007 http://spaceweather.com MOON AND MARS: Please don't miss this: At sunset on Sunday, Dec. 23rd, the full Moon and Mars will rise in the east less than two degrees apart. So close together, the two brightest objects in the evening sky look absolutely dynamite. The display will be visible all night long, even from brightly lit cities, and requires no telescope to enjoy.

Guest guest
I was able to see the moon, it was mostly clear here. I couldn't tell a lot of difference except the moon's aura was golded with a slight tint of red....light blue closest into. The aura was very extended. Ususally I see the moon's aura as dark purplish blue with golden flakes. Linda , " novalees " <Novalees wrote: > > > O please do...it's overcast here and I won' even get a glimpse. > Booohooo. Guest guest
I was able to see this all night, and it was lovely! So intensely bright, and Mars appeared to circle the moon as it moved across the sky. It seemed to move directly overhead here, from East to West. It was still visible when I woke up this morning also... so nice! love & light ~Jen~ , " novalees " <Novalees wrote: > > Space Weather News for Dec. 23, 2007 > http://spaceweather.com > > MOON AND MARS: Please don't miss this: At sunset on > Sunday, Dec. 23rd, the full Moon and Mars will rise in the east > less than two degrees apart.
