Guest guest
Thanks for the assurance Chrism. I did feel it had to do with K, for I did not feel any negativity about the dream even with the pain I felt. Droxine and I have been discussing this dream on her forum. Would it be OK to post your reply there? Also, something I did not mention here about the dream: When the spider came down my arm it spiraled down my arm and felt similar to how the snake senstions feels curling around my legs. Also, the body of the spider was on the underside of my arms and the legs on top where the cancer was. Love, Linda , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Shakti can come in many forms Linda. Guest guest
Was it a Hawthorn tree Linda? LOL> In Shakti legend the Shakti spider form has a favorite tree, the hawthorn tree. In a red form it should be a healer, preserver, and harmonize. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_Goddess The Goddess triad is an essential feature of the Shakti forms of Hinduism and a distinction is made between the separate goddesses Sarasvati, Lakshmi and Kali and their manifestation as three aspects of MahaDevi ( " The Great Goddess " ) when they are named MahaSarasvati, MahaLaksmi, and MahaKali. In the annual festival of Navaratri images of the Triple Goddess are carried in procession throughout India and in Hindu communities worldwide. http://www.crystalinks.com/indiagoddesses.html http://www.mothergoddess.com/india.htm Maya - Virgin aspect of the triple Hindu Goddess, symbolized by a Spider, spinner of magic, fate and earthly appearances. The spider's web was likened to the Wheel of Fate and the spider to the Goddess as a Spinner, sitting at the hub of Her Wheel. Mother of the Enlightened One, Buddha. Guest guest
I looked up some pictures of a hawthorn tree and yes it could have been one, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the tree itself. Yes it could have been, it was a very large tree. It looked a lot like this one but more in the fall of the year. The leaves whee different colors which made it hard to see the spider hiding up there. The tree trunk definitely looked like that. LOL! Thanks Ben for those links.
