At the age of 29, while praying most earnestly for the gifts and

graces of the Holy Spirit. Phillip had an extraordinary experience of

divine love and from that time on there began a palpitation of his

heart which lasted the rest of his life.

At tmes it became so violent that it shook his chair, his bed, and

even his whole room. Ever after he also felt a burning heat in his

heart and throat, so that he was always trying to keep cool by opening

windows and unbuttoning his shirt.

Fired with love Philip began to give much service for others caring

for the sick and giving counsel to those of high and low station in

the time of fifteenth century A.D. of Rome. - V.J.Mathews

You know i can easily see that this can happen.

Knowledge of the ''K'' is so crucial so that we can

guide others who are having an experience. Show them

how to focus and develop the Shakti flow.

There are so many stories thro History of people having

a big Heart centre. We can make that heart chakra as big as a room

or ensoul a planet Eh

I'm not Catholic, I was raised Pentecostal though, and when I saw this I went

searching for information on this Saint. Intriguing!

I have been having this sensation in my chest, best way to describe it is

" fluttering " (like a giant butterfly is trying to break out of my chest).

Palpitation is too strong a word (most of the time). It comes and goes. When I

have it, it kind of troubles me, when it's gone, I kind of miss it. That part, I

associated with Kundalini, or at least with an opening heart center, since my

heart checks out okay ... but you mention the heart ... and throat. I never

thought this might be related to Kundalini ... have you ever heard of a heat on

the throat and face, sort of " U " shaped? (From one cheek, under the chin and up

to the next cheek). It has left semi-permanent marks on my left cheek (I can

send a picture if you want to see it) ... sometimes perfectly heart-shaped,

sometimes it looks more like a butterfly or two hearts together. It's so hot

sometimes, it can get really uncomfortable. The doctor has suspected an adrenal

problem, blood pressure goes up with it, but the MRI finds nothing.

I can definitely relate to the idea of service bringing joy. The happiest times

I have had the past few years have been when I volunteer for a personal growth

class. It is my dream to be able do something like that full time. In the

classes I attend we create a personal " mission statement " ... a very strong

keyword for me is " joy " . I feel comedy is a divine calling because it brings

laughter <g> ...
