the upward flow of energy can cause peculiar sensations and physical

reactions from the neck up. It sounds like this is what you are

experiencing. For a long time after my activation I would have visions

of a large Y impressed on my neck/face. Later on, this became a strong

upward pull on my facial skin and muscles and a spontaneous kechari

mudra, accompanied by a powerful K flow. I believe that this

phenomenology is connected to what is known as the udana flow in the

yogic literature (one of the five pranas). This is a stage that goes

along with the activation of the energy circuits in the throat and

head, and the opening of the crown chakra.

but you mention the heart ... and throat. I never thought this might

be related to Kundalini ... have you ever heard of a heat on the

throat and face, sort of " U " shaped? (From one cheek, under the chin

and up to the next cheek). It has left semi-permanent marks on my left

cheek (I can send a picture if you want to see it) ... sometimes

perfectly heart-shaped, sometimes it looks more like a butterfly or

two hearts together. It's so hot sometimes, it can get really

uncomfortable. The doctor has suspected an adrenal problem, blood

pressure goes up with it, but the MRI finds nothing.

I was just thinking and of course it is related ... the adrenals being one of

the endocrine glands after all (duh <g>). So the doctor may be right, and it

still may be related to Kundalini. In my case, this particular set of symptoms

are primarily physical, from what I can tell. The visions don't trouble me. A

lot of the health problems I have now I believe may be related to the strange

way it originally activated in my case though. I suspect I may have burned out

some of the endocrine system. The other symptoms that drew me here are also

primarily physical - pains in the lower back and neck. I know is right

about these being imbalances ... I need to find ways to bring these areas of my

life back into balance. I have come a long, long way, though, since this first

started happening. But I still have a ways to go.
