Saturday, January 26, 2008 3:06:12 AM report from the road... i just have to share the glorious experience we had today- we stayed in Gallup New Mexico (elevation 7100 feet)for a night then on my birthday ambled about town - we headed for Sedona and arrived late at night - we spent today in sedona - went to the airport vortex and walked about the town - this was the second visit for chrism and i - we had stopped there in nov. - we took a back route out of sedona thru the mountains - the beautiful sedona colored mountains - a lovely red dirt and rock disply that just is not describable - mountain after mountain all shapes all types of rock formations we climbed up a winding very winding road to a town called Jerome an old copper mining town - now filled with art galleries and unique shoppes-the houses and buildings all were perched on the edges of the mountains in a slip shod manner - mostly old -some refurbished and then some new - as we climbed we encountered this magnificent view below - valleys/hills/ forests/red rock and oh the beauty was breathtaking - we stopped to film - we realized we could see nearly 100 miles out - just unbelievable! then we continued thru the pass and my oohs/ahhs did not cease - there does not seem to be any big industry there to support the residents - but i can understand why they live there - to look out on god's creation daily would be enough for me - nothing else seems to matter when one sees the glorious earth as we did today - we are now in Yuma - will be here for a few days and go into mexico - we have encountered some very nice folks along the way -and have made some good contacts and gathered information for the KAS program- i talk about k to just about everyone even the massage therapist i saw got a lesson about k - sedona is a mecca for new age and alternative thinkings- just as northern california is - there is much activity in the world today in all areas of new age - one can easily get lost in the myriad of choices - but i am very happy i found chrism and the KAS program - it is a good path and one where i feel safe and supported and one where there is no long term cost or committment unless one chooses to commit- every day is a day of learning - every day is a day of k ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
