Forgiveness!

I am curious about something. While we practice forgiveness it is asked

of us to go back in time even in other lives if it is something that

needs to be done. Do we all have past lives or just some people? If we

don't all experience more than one life, I wonder what the determining

factor that allows us to come back. Just a thought.

 

If we have had past lives and it was filled with some sort of turmoil

would it be necessary to have to go back and forgive if it isn't

currently affecting us?

This cannot be proved to an exact scientific degree. I " know " we

have all had past lives. Yet because there is currently no mechanism

of proof it is conjecture to most.

 

We go through stages of development imho. We go through areas that

offer us maximum opportunity for learning the entire spectrum of

experience that we need in order to evolve. We come into each

incarnation with a list of probabilities that we as souls would like

to be accomplished. Sometimes they are and sometimes they are not

accomplished.

 

As far as the forgiveness is concerned really only be concerned with

this life. Other time periods may present in memories or dreams but

if you haven't killed a Roman soldier - lately - then don't worry

about it. - lol.

 

Try your best to focus on this life and the interactions you make in

this life. This is the life that counts the most. The past life is

past. The lessons and Karma have been assigned and this is the life

that one is experiencing the decisions made in the prior

incarnation. Or in another prior incarnation.

 

I know this may fly in the face of many who attach great importance

to the interpretation and perceived meanings of past lives. There

are very good reasons for a veil of forgetfulness with regards to

previous incarnations. When one is trying to do their best to live a

virtuous life - this time - one doesn't need to be weighed down by

other failures and successes. We need the honesty and integrity of

starting from a point of innocence and purity. God and Gods tool of

Karma will arrange for the needed pain or pleasures and placement

with in the society for the evolution of the soul.

 

When we pass into our next evolution we are allowed to view from a

position of complete memories of all the incarnations. We are

allowed to see the mistakes made and the choices that guided us in

our interactions with others. Sometimes the soul is so shocked by

the choices it made that it must take time to heal before it can

continue. It must forgive itself and will plead for an incarnation

that will help it to balance the choices that it made. Evolution

towards God is the goal. We eventually get to where we want to go.

Good actions and actions of love move us forward. Hurtful actions

hold us back. It is a very simple formula. -
