Guest guest
Hi gang, Yesterday I had a lovely day. I woke up to a stranger in my home, my friend J had brought her home to crash after a night out. I live in the town centre and so some times friends will use my place to crash out if it's too late to get the bus home. We all had breakfast together and chatted and laughted. Lulu was her name, a lovely chinese girl with bright red hair! I had to leave the home and go out in to the cold city to get a few bits of shopping so off I went. While walking I was communing with God, and the world, when I began to notice a few poor people here and there along my route. I thought about my own financial situation and how I've been moaning lately at the lack of money. I have so much I thought, this man has barely enough to buy a hot potato. I vowed to myself to help the poor and homeless more. When I have money I will build homes for them, set up hostels for the homeless. Please God guide me to be of service for the hard up and homeless, I prayed. (I have always wished to be rich and set up hostels for homeless people as I was nearly homeless myself once). This was my prayer while out shopping, so I stopped and gave some money to some of the people, thanking God for my abundance. When I got home my friend J quickly told me he had no money, he is a hippy type, musician. He was off on a journey to a show and had NO money at all. I gave him some money, even though I have little I have more then some people around here. I thanked God for allowing me to help. Then, later, he began to tell me about LuLu our guest. He apologised for bring her and told me he thought she needed some help, she had no money, no where to stay and had just been ripped off and not been paid for some work she had done. Her mum was refusing to give her money and now she was stuck. Homeless and penniless. What a coincidence I said to God giggling inside. So, I gave her food, money and shelter. Talk about instant manifestation !!! God delivered faster then I'd imagined. Hugs and Joy Elektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail - a smarter inbox http://uk.mail. Guest guest
Excellent example of selfless service Elektra...giving money to others in need when your own resources are pinched. You have such a beautiful soul! May the blessings you bestow on others bless you back, Claudia Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: Hi gang, Yesterday I had a lovely day.
