My first Client...

Most of you know that I have been working on starting a nonprofit

organization to help those who suffer from poverty and don't have

anything or have very little. Today I received an email from a friend

of mine from the " Daily Bread " . He wanted me to call him as soon as I

had a chance to, so first thing this morning I called. He said he has

a client there who suffers from a mental disability due to an

accident a few years ago and she needs someone. He said that I was

the first person he thought about. He felt this was right up my

alley. He said she needed a case manager to help her with her

finances, take her shopping, talk with her if she needs someone to

talk to, just be there for her, be a friend. I am so excited. I meet

with him on Friday to find out more about her and to decide if I want

to take her on as my first client. The meeting is at 10:00 a.m. and I

can't wait! I will be meeting her and going over the things she will

need help with and find out where she lives, she just moved into an

apartment today thanks to the " Daily Bread " . Her family has given

money to assist her and my friend has set up a banking account for

her. If I decide to help, I will take charge of the account and help

her. My friend, the Executive Director, of the " Daily Bread " will

assist where needed and together we will help her through her daily,

weekly, and monthy tasks. What a wonderful feeling this gives me! I

really wanted to share with you this blessing from God.

Love,

Katherine
