Guest guest
I have been reading the Safeties in the Kundalini Awakening Systems, and in the section called Recapitulation, they talk about forgiveness. This is forgiveness week. Each year on these days they forgive - Jan 20 - Forgive living members of your family Jan 21 - Forgive friends and fellow students Jan 22 - Forgive associates in your work situations Jan 23 - Forgive across local and international political lines Jan 24 - Forgive across religious, ideological and racial lines Jan 25 - Forgive deceased persons in any of the above categories Jan 26 - Have you been able unconditionally to give yourself to others by absolving them and so " forgiving " yourself? Guest guest
Well you are off to a good start celticvoice. Those are good guidelines to begin with and they can be expanded upon when ready. - blessings and welcome! - chrism - , " celticvoice6 " <celticvoice6 wrote: > > I have been reading the Safeties in the Kundalini Awakening Systems, > and in the section called Recapitulation, they talk about forgiveness. > This is forgiveness week. Guest guest
Hi celticvoice6 and a warm welcome !! I like the idea of targetting forgiveness across broader and broader boundaries of personal contact. Sometimes we ''remember and remind'' ourselves constantly of the same hurts and betrayals that have, in our assessment, become ongoing negatives in our lives. Scanning far and wide takes care of the hidden cobwebs !! But I'm uncomfortable with the Foundation's quote: " Have you been able unconditionally to give yourself to others by absolving them and so " forgiving " yourself? " IMHO forgiving others doesn't lead to a climactic end point. Rather, the " forgiving and forgetting " should START with ourselves. In self- forgiveness, we lower our defences and de-sensitise ego; the need to forgive others can then become spontaneous and love-based rather than a mere intellectual construct of natural justice. But I certainly agree that, at some point, giving and forgiving become almost interchangeable - love - John. ===================================== " celticvoice6 " wrote: " I have been reading the Safeties in the Kundalini Awakening Systems, and in the section called Recapitulation, they talk about forgiveness. Guest guest
Yes John, good point. Starting from ourselves sounds fair enough. I wonder if they thought about the order of forgiveness at the Foundation. They have been sending me info for years now, and I dont have an address for them, or I would ask them. Guest guest
Hi CV, perhaps the Foundation's view is that in forgiving and merging with the ocean of humanity, the little " i " very naturally returns to its source and to its innocence. The Foundation's address is 25 Grey St, East Melbourne, Victoria 3002, Australia. They sound like an organisation with great global vision. Cheers - John. ========================================== " celticvoice6 " wrote: " Yes John, good point. Starting from ourselves sounds fair enough.
