Hi there!!! It's Drea again... I'm sorry if I'm going to totally

sound n00b to you all right now lol. I checked around to see if

anyone said anything about this and no one has so heres what I have

to say:

I just thought I would share my thoughts to you about a band named

Tool because it was this band that has helped me stay steady and

straight down my spiritual path. I think that if I hadn't of found

their message in their music upon having this kundalini awakening

then I would have been way too lost and delusional.

I'm sending this out to pretty well everyone especally those who just

had a kundalini awakening or those who have not yet.

Tool is an american rock band that has been around for about 15 years

with a very unique or unusual twist. The band consisted of: Danny

Carey (drums), Maynard James Keenan (vocals), Adam Jones (guitar),

and Justin Chancellor (bass). They have the fibonacci sequence in

some of their songs as well as placing much time and feelings into

their music. Their music videos (which I'll get to in a bit) are as

artistic and symbolic as dreams and myths. Their art is done by Adam

Jones, the guitarist and in the past has done art for films like

Jurassic Park, and Alex Grey, a well known spiritual artist from New

York. Maynard James Keenan is a very poetic, spiritual, and

psychological, lyricist. The drummer, Danny, is very excellent and

uses foriegn drums like the tabla every now and then.

Once I awakened the kundalini spontaneously, I didn't really know who

to turn to so I just turned to Tool's music. It's like most of the

advice that I needed was just right there in their music.

Tool's Message

To me, Tool's main message is to realize that we are more then just

our ego selves, that there is so much more to discover within

ourselves. It touches upon such topics as clearing away the blocks

keeping you from having a connection with the inner child. They talk

about the struggles of entering the shadow of the unconscious, and

how its important for our evolution. How we should dim those

fantasies, needs, and wants from the mind and just let our heart or

the light within guide us. To me its all about preparing your

connection and trust with the lower self or subconcious mind so that

you can move smoothly and just flow into all experiences and

challenges. Thier music is very psychological and spiritual. I'm just

giving you the breif explanation.

All of their albums have unique themes.

The Album Aenima is defined as anima + enema + carl jungs aeon. The

whole album is very serious about finding the other half of your

soul, for men it would be anima or the feminine aspects of the self.

But the album also seems to present itself in a very childlike way

throwing jokes here and there, but is like this because its a message

to find our innosence and inner child within. lol, The enema part

seems to represent something or an understanding that will allow new

possiblities, wider perceptions, etc, to just slip into consciousness

instead of letting these new things sturggle themselves through.

The Album Lateralus seems to be progressing in certain steps. I have

found that certain tracks on that albums represented certain chakras.

This album has been helping with those chakras. If you know alchemy

this album is leading from lead to gold. I will not spoil too much

for you on this.

Oh and if you like The Flower of Life, Drunvalo, 46 & 2 christ

consciousness, Sacred Geometry, Merkaba, etc. This band is all about

that. They even made a song about the merkaba and 46 and 2.

So if you are interested, here are some videos. There music has

helped me stay on track so far with the kundalini, maybe you will

relate to that too. I placed little spoilers beside each of the

following links of the videos because i tend to find that most people

get lost in their messages... just rmember too though, that this is

all my interpretation of the band:

this song is schism.

******* little spoiler*****The schism within ourselves and between us

all and how we must fit the pieces together again.... and much more

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiV_ue-PbL4 this song is

parabol/parabola. ******* little spoiler***** Rejoicing this body,

our experiences and challenges and understaning that all these

worries and pains keeping us from moving on are illusions.

this is Stinkfist. Please

don't take this literally. This song reminds me of kundalini. *******

little spoiler***** It's about going beyond our limits even though it

may seem uncomfortable at times but we must get through it to feel

more connected with ourselves, with our anima (for men), animus (for

woman).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4dCIMV6IkM This is Third Eye. I think

Chrism was talking about the blue eyes earlier on this forum and I

think the lead singer is talking about that in this song. Please

understand that this band doesnt do drugs. this message is about

openning the third eye without teasing it with LSD or psychedelics.

(unofficial video) This is

Lateralus. I don't think I really have to say much here. I think the

connected kundalini, mind, and heart explain this all. I will say

that this song helped me the best to just flow with events over

letting my mind of past/future worries distroy opportunities in life.

Alright. I guess I'll end this off with how great it is that some of

these bands get into these topics. It is a bit of a shame that our

educational system does not teach us about anything psychological in

order to help heal ourselves, evolve, and keep us from running into

even more problems. I think its really great that a band like Tool is

around to get people who have never learned any of this in thier life

time to understand the importance of transending the ego.

Oh I almost forgot. If you check out some of their songs live, the

lead singer is mostly in a freeflow movement. Everyone thinks hes

doing this purposely and that hes crazy, but I think its because of

the kundalini within him.

Anyways, I talked too much lol.
