how has K changed you?

 

Greetings,

I am very new here and am naturally very overwhelmed, but am slowly taking

it all in little by little, baby steps.

 

I am sure you all know my situation having been there yourselves and

having felt the same feelings a new person does at this stage. I please

ask for your patience.

 

I hope nobody gets offended by anything I say, I certainly don't mean any

harm, so if I cause any grief please, let me apologize right now.

But what I really wanted to find out was, how has the K changed you in

your 'normal' life? I mean, your day to day mundane normal stuff ie.

work, grocery shopping, talking to friends and family that have known you

for so long as this way (non K) and now this huge change in you all of a

sudden. Do you put up a facade around these old acquantances or do they

know? I mean, I've got friends that for example like to tell dirty jokes,

I always laughed before because, well, they were funny. Is the K

awakening going to cause me to shun them or fake laugh, or what? Once in

a while we kick back some beers and just get goofy. Will I eventually

just go my seperate way from my old habits, friends and lifestyles?

 

I guess that's what is currently top on my 'scare-list' today. I kind of

don't want to give up my identity, is that what's required?

 

I hope I am making sense, I have so many questions I hope you all are

patient, lol. I am working on the safeties and will start the Tibetans

tonight.
