Guest guest
Well I heard this one a long time ago... Sorry if it has changed in my mind a bit too much... Strange place to keep a joke. A father and nun were walking in the woods one day. Suddenly a snow storm hit and they couldn't find their way. Luckily they stumbled upon a cabin, got inside and found they must stay there for the night. Soon it was time to sleep, but luckily there was a bed and a smaller mattress, and a big pile of blankets. The father let the nun take the bed, and soon they were settling in to sleep for the night in the dark cabin. Just as the father was about to sleep, he heard the nun calling out sweetly to him. " Oh father, I'm soooo cold. Could you please get me another blanket? " The father got up and got her a blanket, as he put it on top of her she thanked him profusely, batting her eyes at him. He got back under his blanket and was almost asleep when he heard her again. " Oh father, I'm soooo cold. Could you please get me another blanket? " He got up and got her a blanket. She thanked him for his kindness very coyly. The father quickly got back under his blanket, got warm again and was just about to fall asleep. Suddenly the nun called out again. " Oh father, I'm still oh soooo cold. Could I trouble you to get just one more blanket for me? Pleeeeeassse? " There was a moment of silence as the father thought. Then he said: " Well my dear, we are a long way away from everyone. We are trapped here all alone in this storm- through no fault of our own. I'm sure that whatever happens here is between only us and God. " " Yes father....? " she said hopefully. " Would you like just for this once, for this night only, to pretend that we are husband and wife? " " Oh! Yes father! " " Alright then " He said. " Get up and get your own damn blanket. " With that the father rolled over and went to sleep.
