Guest guest
Thank you everyone for all the support. I think the yearning can only be translated into growth if I make time. is right, my step is to take out time. If I do not have a strong desire then i cannot hope to succeed. The strength and determination has to be strong enough to make this possible. In yoga this is called Pratyahara which is why the path of God is so difficult to walk but He takes care that if we do walk it then things become simpler. I am a match with its tip wearing out. I can associate myself with that. Just like a well cannot be dug by digging at different places in the field similarily spiritual growth cannot be achieved by trying all different things at the same time. I think its time to empty the cup and start afresh. Thank you for the direction Chrism. I had a most amazing dream tonight and when i woke up i felt all dizzy and light headed almost like i was drunk except that i dont take alcohol. It was a wonderful magical dream and i almost seemed to live it. I think i am going to start with the safeties and forget about eveything else. I do some mantra practice so i am going to continue with that and see how it goes. Is there a Shaktipat coming soon? Maybe i will be ready by then. Guest guest
It was a strange dream. Frowm what i remember of it, seems to be a Chronicle of Narnia, lol. What i remember are bits and pieces of a curse on a statue which is under the shadow from a full moon. I do hear a voice saying its the curse of Zeus(definately a dream). I also a beautiful wolf after me and is killed by someone by burning it and as its burning a piece of it is removed from the fire and it turns back into a wolf again. I also see a fight between good and bad and the statue with the curse comes alive when i stand between it and the moon. The statue turns into a powerful being who then proceeds to fight and protect me against the bad people. It was incredibly real and i can almost feel the cool air of the full moon night. When I woke up i was all dizzy and light headed and stayed that way for almost an hour or two after that. I dont know the significance of the dream but it was great and i usually dont have such dreams. When in March is the Shaktipat? If it is not decided then a great date could be March 6 2008, which is also the date for Maha Shivratri or The Great Night OF Shiva and is considered highly auspicious. In case if the date is already decided please ignore this. I will certainly practise the safeties to be ready for the Shaktipat. Guest guest
Dan, the Shaktipat will begin on the Vernal Equinox, which is March 20th...it will last for 7 days. The Shaktipats are always given on the Equinoxes and the Solstices, and always run for 7 days. You will need to post a public declaration of your intention to participate in the Shaktipat in which you state that you are in daily practice of the Safeties; then post a photo of yourself in the Vernal Equinox Shaktipat and the AAA Scatterfield photo albums. Glad you will participate! Blessings & love, Claudia Dan <mysticaldan wrote: It was a strange dream. Frowm what i remember of it, seems to be a Chronicle of Narnia, lol.
