Guest guest
Hi everyone, Thank you all for all the valuable information you have shared with me. Things seem a bit clearer now and I know what my take has been from this. Now onto my next step. What kind of routines do you have in terms of the practise and how long does it last. I have tried to do the 5 Tibeteans and it takes me about 20-25 mins to do the entire 5 with the whirlings for 21 times, the Seond Tibetean I can only do 8-10 times, The 3rd, 4th and 5th for 21 times. Also what else needs to be done? I can understand that my mantra practise can come after the Tibeteans. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Guest guest
Hey Dan, I usually sit down and do the alternate nostril breathing/compression prayer after the Tibetans. And then the chakra breathing 15 x for each chakra up to the Throat Chakra. Then I usually send out healing energy and prayers. Each day is different for me though. Sometimes work and whatnot will make it impossible to get all aspects of the safeties in, especially those that are 'time based'. If it's too painful too get up at 5 am or stay up til 3 am to 'follow your practice', I would rather relax, let it slide and get back to it the next day. It was pointed out to me that the many other aspects of the safeties would be great to focus more on days like that. Work on your inner joy at work, being kind to others, forgiveness, love... etc, etc, etc... I think it's a big part of the process to be kind, tolerant and loving with ourselves as well. On a day where you are too busy to do the Tibetans, but you manage to lovingly accept that in yourself, and know deep down that you are commited to your process, and know that you will do it the next day and the next... Wow, by lovingly accepting yourself and where you are at, guilt free and with love, you likely are making much more 'progress' than on a day where you forced yourself grudgingly to do some excercise that you didn't feel like doing, because what you really needed was some sleep or something like that! The same goes for a bit of coffee, too much sugar or junk food, any other indulgences... Relax about it, slowly surely, gently and patiently you will consume less of these, and then perhaps at some point none at all. You will also find your practice can become more rewarding, easy and have more diligence to follow it if you are patient, tolerant and forgiving of yourself when you are not perfect. What is the saying? " Rome was not built in a day! " lots of love Dan, Oms in return bradly
