Guest guest
Hi All, I did some research on that " Dali Lama OM free cd and this is what I found.. The singer is Hein Braat, who is Dutch, not Tibetan. In fact it has nothing to do with Buddhism-100%Hindu, this mantra invokes Shiva, the " three-eyed one. " here are the words of the chant Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra in Hindu: Om Tryambhakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam Urvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat In English: We worship the Three-eyed One (Lord Shiva). Who is fragrant and who nourishes well all beings. May He liberate us from death fro the sake of immortality, Even as the cucumber is severed from bondage to the creeper. Can anyone verify this information??? Love, Light and Blessing to you, Genevieve
Guest guest
I think it is all a conspiracy and this Dutch guy is usurping the true singer who could be none other than the Dalia Lama or Bruce Springsteen. I am writing the Dalai Lama to let him know that yes! We the true believers of his secret desire to be a pop/new age singing sensation will never allow his name to be used or usurped unless the pay off is really good. - lol - , <gen2244 wrote: > > > Hi All, > I did some research on that " Dali Lama OM free cd and this is what I found.. > The singer is Hein Braat, who is Dutch, not Tibetan. Guest guest
Genevieve, [via Website " Post Message " function] I made a similar observation last week, as shown below. chrism's reply to my posting was not convincing and chrism's reply to your posting is even less convincing (although it's not clear whether the response was intended to be humerous or not). Bhavin. ------------- The " Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra " is a very powerful mantra to Shiva. It was interesting to hear the Dalai Lama version of it. However, this webpage claims that it is Hein Braat (not Dalai Lama): and it sounds exactly the same as the one distributed via KAS1. Some further background: http://gary.penn.googlepages.com/lama.html2 Simple chant, including English text: http://www.geocities.com/siddhaashram/Mahamrityunjaya.htm World " Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra " Japa Yajna: http://www.geocities.com/mahamrityunjayamantra/ A good video version with explanations: An " Indian Manga " type of video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bANzo7UpdEY " Vedic Metal " : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xVFgCjJm44 How does the Shiva/Shakti/Kundalini/Chakra/Nadi/Prana Hindu philosophy fit in with other religions?
