Guest guest
Thanks (Cuneyt, Elektra, cabalink) for comments. I have been meditating over 30 years. Therefore it is not so much ASAP to desire to get results. I have read the safeties and Gopi Krishna's bio downloaded from the site. about keeping the breath In the book of Patanjali, Yoga sutras, he recommends it. about hypnotic trance created by pulses Yes that is the point. According to some of the papers collected in the book of (Michael Hutchison, Megabrain), when brain encounters a repetitive pattern, will follow it. 5 Hertz is theta state of brain, between full awareness and unconscious sleep. Something that Maharishi Mahesh yogi (peace be upon him) calls: transcendental state. ====================================================== question was this: Is sending the brain to theta state helps or not? I do not like Alpha state It is too agitated comparing with theta ====================================================== people have been meditating for decades and died without results what is the point of 17 years meditation (like Gopi Krishna) before getting results, if one can use electronic devices and get the same result in a much shorter time? Guest guest
I have to say I've never heard of such methods, but still I think that a slow regular practice will give the best results even if it takes forever as it is the work that conditions the body to safely accept and intergrate higher energies. If it's just about deepening meditation then if something helps you enter theta state then go for it, I know people use holosynch CD's. But for activating Kundalini I would allow it to come in it's own time and not try to push it. If we are only focusing on the end result we are missing the whole point and perhaps this is why we do not reach what we desire. Surrender is paramount to a safe activation. Reaching a state of non-expectancy is surely a good way of developing one's own energy. A shaktipat from coupled with practice will certainly get you on your way and is the way I recommend a safe Kundalini experience. IMHO Blessings Elektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail - a smarter inbox http://uk.mail.
Guest guest
People who have consumed 'Psychotropic' drugs, like LSD or peyote or ketamine, have reported many wonderful mystical experiences !! But are they real ? No, they are just hallucinations. THe meditator by repeated attempts for prolonged periods, often running into years enters the state called " Turya " -literal meaning 'The fourth state' as compared to the Awakened state, sleep and dreaming state. When the thought flow stops, the mind dissappears, the 'Ego' vanishes, and one realises that one is a spiritual being, not the body-mind complex. The hindus consider this the highest achievement for a human being. This is extremely difficult to achieve. Out of a million 'Sadhakas' - seekers- one or two may achieve this. Earnestness and persevereness are very essential for treading this path. And a competent guru is a must. There are exceptions, like shri Ramana maharishi, who didn't have a guru. So how do we know that hallucinations do not bear some form of " objective " reality? Brandi
Guest guest
I have never ever had a guru and I am going ok. I am re-reading my book on Hinduism that I have had for years. In this new cycle, I dont think we all need gurus. Guest guest
Hello Shahin, I think Chrism's approach includes meditation but also includes a balance of other things like forgiving, inner joy, gratitude, watching our diets, doing the tibetans, etc. With this balanced approached we are most likely to awaken in a loving and joyful manner. As well, following this loving balanced approach is the filter through which we recieve the shaktipat from Chrism. So by following all the safeties, you are more likely to bring more results through the shaktipat 4X a year, and it also will likely help you get more results from your mediations as well. If you are spending a balanced amount of time with your safeties as well as with your meditations, and still want to awaken ASAP, increase your amount of loving service to others! Talk to Katherine, or check out some of her past posts over the last year to see what result this has, lol. It will 'jump start' your meditations. love bradly
