Guest guest
What it is you want to be convinced of Bhavin? I received the CD free from a merchant who gave me all of the information I have posted about it. Was the information incorrect? Call 911. Its a nice CD and a nice chant and I enjoy it as do others who EVER recorded it. Why is this such a big deal? - blessngs - chrism
Guest guest
Witnesses to this most important development can be provided at the request of the prosecutor. was there as we were purchasing seminar supplies. Plus I can perhaps get the merchant online to give her testimony. Please let me know how your mind can be put at ease. , " chrism " <> wrote: > > What it is you want to be convinced of Bhavin? Guest guest
I'm still not sure if this is meant to be humourous or not (so I won't laugh just yet). There seems to be a strange combination of seriousness and attempts to be funny. Let me provide clarification that it's not a big deal to me personally. But it is clearly important to some other people, perhaps due to the ethical and moral issues involved. There is a lot of information on the public internet. People can do their own research and decide for themselves. Bhavin. , " chrism " <> wrote: > > What it is you want to be convinced of Bhavin? Guest guest
If " Innocent Mike " bought a Snow White DVD from " Honest John " down at the local market and it turned out to be an illegal copy or fake, then it does not help in a court case that Mike's friends were witnesses. As I said before, check the information that is available and make up your own mind. Guest guest
I did do some searching on this yesterday. A week or so ago, I thought I was on a Dalai Lama website where you could download the CD for free with the story of giving it away for free, but I guess it was not a true Dalai Lama webpage for it has been delete or is no longer excessable, as well as about 50 or more other links to the CD. I even checked out Hein Braat's website. That is were I got the quote I posted yesterday about the meaning of the CD. http://www.heinbraat.com/index.php?menu_id=78 Linda , " Bhavin Desai " <bhavin.desai wrote: > > I'm still not sure if this is meant to be humourous or not (so I won't > laugh just yet). Guest guest
If " Innocent Mike " was " given " a Snow White DVD from " Honest John " down at the local market and it turned out to be an illegal copy or fake, outside of innocent Mikes knowledge then it does matter to the courts here in the USA if the snow white cd was given rather than purchased Bhavin. Mike has not demonstrated an intent to defraud Walt Disney & Co. by accepting a CD from another person. You seem to be trying very hard to make the whole Dalai Lama CD thing into something bad or dishonest. Guest guest
I am not " trying hard " anything. You are making a lot of presumptions. Please stop your focus on ME personally. Just look at the publicly available information. Apologise for your mistake and credit the original artist. Perhaps also inform the shop regarding the free distribution? Note the cost of the original is 17 Euros from: http://www.yogini.eu/webwinkel/index.php?product_id=3 & sub=95 & cmd=shop_produc t & prod_id=217 (This was just one click away from the link in Linda's email.) I'm not a lawyer, but... it does not make too much of a difference that someone was *given* an item rather than *bought* it, since in either case there is still the issue of possession of illegal goods, also complicated by the onward distribution of such goods. This is further complicated by continuing to do so even when several different newsgroup members have pointed out the same issue (although it is noted that you have not sent messages to them personally). However, regardless of the above commercial and legal impacts/implications, please also consider the ethical and moral issues. For example, how would you feel if someone else took material from your websites etc, and started giving it away free with someone else's name, without even acknowledging you? How would you feel if they continued to do that even when informed by other people about the original of the material and resources? You are the newsgroup owner so you have certain responsibilities about the content of the messages and the content of your websites. I am only a guest and have no rights, so you are able to revoke my membership according to your wish. You may wish to study (or refresh yourself) regarding the Yamas and Niyamas, which are the first two stages of the Patanjali Eightfold Path. There are lots of internet resources available for this information. Guest guest
I wrote to the Dalia Lama and recieved an answer that c has not yet posted - all is well - this discussion offered lessons for all of us in many ways - for me I realized that I need to do what I usually do - go to the source -but more quickly - and it brought to the forefront that i need to be diligent when it comes to recording/publishing chrism's works/words- so thank you for the discussion. Guest guest
Dear Bhavin, There are ethical and moral and legal issues being violated ONLY if the CD is being SOLD....it is being given away for FREE. explained how he came to obtain a copy of the CD in the following post to you on February 6th: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes hello Bhavin, This was given to me at a new age crystal shop nearby where I live in Santa Rosa. I was buying some supplies for the upcoming seminar. I heard this music playing but only certain frequencies of it. I didn't hear the words or the actual " music " of it merely the low tonal frequencies and thought that it was nice. I ask the young lady behind the counter, the daughter of the owners, what she was playing and she graciously replied that it was the Dalai Lama chanting for a person to lead them through the Bardo. I left it at that and continued looking for supplies. As I was paying her I asked her if I could purchase a copy of the CD as I enjoyed the low tonal frequencies. She replied that she could not sell me a copy and instead told me she would give me the CD that she was playing! She then began to inform me of the Dalai Lamas wish that it be freely distributed. I was the second person that day to receive a copy. I was pleasantly surprised and of course wanted to share it with the group. Not being as well versed in the computer industry as you Bhavin I decided to make the CD's for people rather than try and find a share site that might eventually charge them for the download. So I did that until Linda and her helpers found a way around that. I have listened to the URL you have most kindly offered but I do find differences between the two though it is yes the same Mantra. Thank you for the in depth background about this mantra and the Dalai Lamas use of it and I do agree it is a most powerful and for me a pleasant experience. I will play it at the seminar and will give away free copies to the attendees. With instructions against its commercial vending. Thank you also for the translation. The breadth of your knowledge in these areas is impressive! - blessings Bhavin - chrism ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It seems to me that knowing the kind of person the Dalai Lama is, he would want as many people as possible to have access to this CD and he would NOT want financial gain from its distribution. Don't you think? I hope this helps! Many blessings to you, Bhavin, Claudia Bhavin Desai <bhavin.desai wrote: I'm still not sure if this is meant to be humourous or not (so I won't laugh just yet). Guest guest
I have spoken offlist with Bhavin, he chose to contact me for whatever reason to give his last speech. He has now left. I can see what happened quite clearly. Mercury, planet of communications was in peek retrograde period, twisting communication and giving a feeling of confusion , and then we are in the middle of a pair of eclipses, this one today bring ends to things, including relationships. It is the perfect planetary time to miscommunicate, get confused, get angry and storm off. Simple as that. I see it all the time with these configurations, Bless you all and be aware in your own personal lifes not to repeat this pattern. My hubby's sister loves to accuse him of all kinds of stuff around the eclipses we have been having in the last 2 years, getting very angry and refusing to speak to him after!!!! I'm an expert in this! Ha ha Love Elektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail - a smarter inbox http://uk.mail.
