How is that for karma?! " What goes around, comes around " certainly is karma. But is it the action of a punitive god/dess, a metaphysical principal or a psychological one? It's a subtle difference in belief I am talking about - but I think it is important. I think it matters how we look at it, our world view determines so many of our beliefs and attitudes. Sometimes it is clear how we bring circumstances on ourselves through our reactions, sometimes it is harder to see. I don't know enough about Mia Farrow to say exactly how this worked for her - but projection is a well established psychological and metaphysical principal. In a nutshell, we get others to act out the side of ourselves that we won't own. Psychologically, we unconsciously " pick " people to be around who will act out these issues. Metaphysically, our energy attracts them to us as well. Or we create them out of our children and family. So this scenario is not surprising when looked at that way. I'm not saying there is no spiritual component to karma, it's certainly about growth. What I am saying is it is not about " punishment " , no scorecard is being kept. I'm also saying that (to use this story as an example) Mia Farrow did not " choose " to be betrayed by Soon Yi in order to atone for her prior misdeeds. She was probably as surprised as anyone in that circumstance. What happened was the natural consequence of her reactions, beliefs and attitude, and if she does not recognize this, she will carry that energy forward, not just in this lifetime, but again into the next, and over and over until she decides to break the cycle herself. Guest guest
@@@ While Mia was with Andre, they adopted two children from Asia, one of whom is SoonYi. So 20 years down the track, SoonYi does to Mia what Mia did to Dory! How is that for karma?!@@@ LOL! I just now realized exactly what was written here. So the adopted daughter took her father away from her mother? Maybe, it's not about the women who are at fault here, but Andre instead. Sort of reminds me of the biblical law that the sins of the father will continue to the fourth generation. The guy just likes them young, it looks like to me. Or was Mia already married to someone else by that time? Which ever way you look at it there is sure to be Karma to worked out for all involved. Hehe! Blessedbetoday
This is fascinating. It was only by reading Dory Previns obit that I realized that Ms. Farrow seduced Previn. It's like an energy pattern that, once established, continues to operate.
