It can heal even one in his death bed suffering from a serious affliction. This mantra has also an esoteric meaning of praying to god for " Moksha " or Liberation. Anybody can chant it, loudly or silently, with reverence, and the effects will be the same, that is the belief. Also many temples conducts Maha Mrthynjaya homas, the devotees can request this and pay a small nominal fee. If anytime in future, you require a healing for yourself or relatives or friends (God forbid It), please tell me, i will offer a Maha Mrithyunjaya homa in agreat temple.
