I am not sure that either one is better or more legit, and I don't understand why some spontaneous K people think others should be deprived of the experience. Sure, the K requires a lot of work and a major shift in priorities. So what? Free will, anyone? If anything, people who receive the K through intentional transmission may have the right guidance, whereas spontaneous K folks may have a rougher ride in the beginning, especially if they are on their own. As a " spontaneous " ... it's not that I think anyone should be deprived of the experience. It's just I think they need to follow safe practices and I think they need to know what they could be getting into. My experience would have been challenging regardless, but it would have been far less frightening if I'd known what to expect.
