Guest guest
The breezes at dawn has secrets to tell you Don't go back to sleep You must ask for what you really want Don't go back to sleep People are going back and forth across the doorsill Where the two worlds meet The door is round and open Don't go back to sleep Rumi This instruction is very relevant to the Kundalini, as much energy and opportunity are present at the dusk and the dawn, when, as Rumi states, there are secrets to tell and many crossing the threshold. (Not only sleepers are crossing that threshold) This is absolutely the truth. Much of the " kriyas " activity in the person will be present at about 3:00 AM. This is why many of the K yoga folks call it the golden hour. I find it happens anywhere from 3 to 8 am and is variable with the amount of sleep the individual has received and is needed. Beginnings and endings have their own special power as they are individual and intertwined. -blessings- chrism
Guest guest
I've always called dusk " Magic Hour " . I have always received special insights at that time of day. Since the K I tend to wake up at 3am a lot too. Interesting. Guest guest
I love this poem, it really speaks to me. Yes, I wake most nights/mornings at 3am (after about 4 hrs. of sleep at that point) and if I stay awake, I go into tongue up/finger locks/eyes up and pray to Shakti or say the Shakti prayer, think of forgivenesses (self or others- -more and more it's self rather than others as I don't feel hurt/put upon by others so much now) or I try to visualize harmony and peace on this planet. Usually fall back to sleep in the middle of that! LOL. I don't usually rise as it would wake my husband who has just gotten off to sleep... Thanks for that poem, chrism. I may have to pull out my book of Rumi now. It's been awhile since I read him. Blessings to you in all ways, Valarie
