Hello!

I wanted (well, at Chrism's request :-) to share a story that has happened

to me recently.

Setting the mood:

I'm a happily married (depending on who you talk to, lol) man with two

lovely children, 11 and 8.

Anyway, I had what I guess you could call a drinking problem for a few

years(ok about 5), although I never really looked at it like a " problem "

of course. I mean, those that we hung around did the same thing, so it

was just natural. We all hung out a lot together, doing outdoor things

like horseshoes and 4-wheelers and canoeing, bonfires and loud classic

rock... and naturally we would pound the etoh like it was water in the

Sahara. It got to the point where I would have several shots of bourbon

and a 6 pack or so of beers, every day. Drank from 5:15pm to 10 or so

when I went to bed, or passed out. I knew this wasn't good for me, but I

really had no desire to quit or even change slightly. I was " happy " this

way.

Well, about 6 months ago for some reason I just quit. It was totally out

of the blue and I had no inclination to quit, it's just that I didn't have

the urge or taste for it anymore. I was stunned. It must have been about

a month after this that I finally had a taste again and it just wan't the

same. You know when you go to a party where everyone is drinking and you

open a beer and then 3 hours later you realize that you still haven't

finished that first beer? It happened to me. New years eve another

example, I love the champagne too, so I figured, well, I'll be slamming

the champagne. We are at a party, everyone's drinking, I poured my first

glass of champagne, drank a few gulps, set it down and walked away. The

CHAMPAGNE didn't even have the same draw. Now mind you, I am totally

baffled at this point, it seems like my body just doesn't want any

alcohol. At this point in my life (new years 08) I had maybe 4 very short

OBE's that I can remember and I've been contemplating the reason for our

existance other than the obvious. Really, really deep thinking and

seeking answers, praying to God for some answers and even typing " why are

we here " in the internet search engines, lol. (some really wacky

responses out there trust me)

Then, 3 weeks ago I had my electrifying spinal sweep, Jan 30, on my 1 year

anniversary of my life changing initial OBE event on Jan 30 2007. Odd? I

thought so.

So anyway, my point is, I think the Kundalini was making adjustments in me

before I even knew what was going on. I just didn't like alcohol anymore,

and still don't. Oh yea, I'll try to drink once in a while, but it

doesn't take long at all for me to switch to pepsi, or even just water

while everyone else is getting blasted, just like I used to do. And

actually, it's quite comical watching them, being sober, lol. Once in a

while someone will catch on and ask what's " wrong " with me, at first I'd

tell them that I had too much the day before, as a cover, but that only

lasted a little while. Now they know, I just told them basically it

doesn't taste the same. They look at me strange for a minute, then take a

big gulp and go about their business, lol.

Anyway, this subject had come up in a private email with and he

thought that if I was comfortable that I should share it with the group.

Well, I have no problem sharing at all, and hopefully it might give

someone hope, or encouragement, or even if it just makes you smile it will

be worth it.

:-)

Have a great day everyone!

Love and Light,

Bill

Wow, Bill! What a testimony to the " naturalness " of Shakti's ways!

I've been enjoying them, too, regarding food. Its just the most

natural thing in the world to go along with her. Good for you! Thank

you for sharing!

Love, dhyana

Thanks for sharing that Bill! An awesome example of how we are

transformed, often without us even realizing it. I had many changes

in me before I knew my K was activated. They were different than

yours, but definate changes all the same. It really is an amazing

experience isn't it?

Thats really great Bill. I can relate to that.

I was the typical person in their early 20's who would drink every

weekend, but when I started getting all these energies everything

just changed. It's like I didn't really care to drink anymore as

well, and if I did it just wasnt the same at all. My body and mind

reacted to it differently. It seriously was like my body was really

rejecting it.
