Guest guest
I have a bit of an unusual question over how the kundalini can start to travel in the body. I've read that the kundalini can travel not only from the base of the spine but also from the top of the head. I've also heard that it can travel from the heart outward. Is this true? Can the kundalini start to travel from the middle chakra?
Guest guest
It will in a typical expression rise up the spine to the top of the head where it is united with he Shiva or Christ or prana. I.E. the (-) travels to the (+) and the divine marriage or circuit is completed. Then it cam express through any part of the body or energetic platform that is to be used as a source of expression. Having a heart express Kundalini without ban awakening of it isnt that common as the Kundalini resides on the physical body in a certain place and even though nothing about the Kuyndalini is " impossible " there are situations that are more likely then less to occur. - my take - chrism -- In , " Drea " <lvledusa wrote: > > I have a bit of an unusual question over how the kundalini can start to > travel in the body. Guest guest
I believe that this is correct, Kundalini can begin in the heart. I think from the top down too. _________ Answers - Got a question? Someone out there knows the answer. Guest guest
Alright. So this is what I've been reading: " The paths of the Kundalini takes are quite varied. Most commonly Kundalini begins at the feet or the base of the spine and travels up toward the head... Accounts of Kundalini, however, also include similar intense activity travelling from the head downward or from the middle outward. " - Wheels of Life--Judith (Ok, so first off, I have a tendency to make up my own theories and making a lot of mistakes (but I take a lot of risks).) So lets say that someone started getting the action at the heart to start. How would you think this could effect the person if it would to start here and not in the usual order from root to crown? I mean... Isn't there rumor gonig around that bipolar disorder could have something to do with the Kundalini on some sort of level? I mean, most people with bipolar have never had that sweep up the spine so if there is a link between bipolar disorder and the kundalini then the kundalini couldn't have started from the base of teh spine but maybe penetrated the heart to start? The other thing is that the heart has everything to do with things such as love, love for the self, and balance or unity, but it being not balanced has everything to do with fear and dis-integration. To me, because I was diagnosed bipolar a long time ago, I felt that the heart tends to be the center for bipolar issues where you would shift from being so loving and connected to fearing and being disconnected. ok. i gotta go now, unfortunately. I may have more to say about this. let me know what you think.
Guest guest
As one that will attest to the fact that Kundalini can spring or originate from other chakras rather than the primary rout from the root to the crown, I would say chrism points out that usually this is a growing, learning, and evolving process. That the ones that have K burst fourth from an intermediate point would usually have a circumstance in their lives that would be dramatic enough to cause this event. My feeling is that when the K-energy sprang fourth within myself it came from the solar plexus as the primary point. I would not suggest that anyone explore the possibility of making the K-energies manifest out of any chakra but rather be with the natural flow of cosmic design. If it be root to crown or inverted crown to root it should be a much more pleasant way to go with the flow rather than exploding. That was some 36 years ago and I have made it sound like a terrible experience and opposite is the reality. It was the 24 years leading up to that point that was the confoundment. Drea in my younger days bipolar was called schizophrenia and yes at 18 I was in psychiatric therapy for quite a while and that is where I got my start in Yoga. I guess I may have been in an experimental group as they actually taught us to kick off the shoes and sink your feet into the ground and feel the energies of the earth flow through the body. This may have been revolutionary back in 1968 but at that time it seemed quite natural. In my group therapy we were taught the Tibetans movement. You said something that is really interesting and I will have to look into this: " I mean... " I have never heard this and as I have been there it is very interesting idea. Never had a sweep up the spine either, but have done it to others. Something to think about and look into, I emerged out of the solar plexus which is said to be; mental functioning, power, control, freedom to be oneself, career.
