Guest guest
Tonight while meditating I saw Jesus. As soon as I saw him the greatest love washed over me and I felt this feeling in my third eye. It brought instant tears to my eyes which spilled over. Then as I continued to gaze at him I felt my whole face and neck being pushed in. It's hard to describe, it was not painful at all, in fact it felt like my face was being melted by love if that makes any sense. Guest guest
LOL, it does sound funny doesn't it? It was the only wording I could use to describe what happened and even that is inadequate. I guess there just aren't words to describe it. Guest guest
Sarita, Reading your post reminded me of my vision. I didn't follow any organized religion. I felt the earth (mother nature) was important.I couldn't believe one religion would be superior over another when there are so many religions. Many people feel their religion is the far superior religion. Several years ago Chrism had me pick a religion from an apple bowl with a dozen or so pieces of paper with religions on them. He said one piece of paper was even blank. I blindly chose Christianity. Which didn't mean much to me for remember I didn't believe in any of them. I can't remember how long after we had the drawing, in my meditation I had a vision of a man standing at the end of my bed looking at me. I sat up and said " was right " . The next day I called and told him about the man at the foot of my bed. asked who it was. I didn't know who the figure was but I knew he was some religious person I had seen in a church before. Days went by and had me meet him at his office. I noticed a picture on the wall and asked who that person was. I told the man in my vision looked very close to the one on the wall but was wearing a white robe. said that was Jesus. Clarice Sarita <sarita1969 wrote: Tonight while meditating I saw Jesus. Guest guest
Wow, thanks for sharing that Clarice! I don't believe that one religion is better than any other either. Naturally, each religion thinks theirs is " The One " . I believe God comes in many forms so He can reach us all. Guest guest
I totally agree, Sarita. My experience (with Christianity, at least--I can't speak for other religions as I have no experience with them), seems to be an exercise in Group Ego which needs division to " feed " itself (I see the big plant in Little Shop of Horrors saying " FEED ME! " ). I know not all people in an organized religion are so rigid but in my experience a lot of them are so I lost heart as far as church goes. Yes, there are many paths and if people can see beyond the group- think to the truths that are very much still there, it can be a good thing. I have come to a place in myself I'm happy with and I treasure those Master Teachers such as Yeshua and The Buddha for what they gave us. I now don't need a church or religionj to find the Divine Presence. I find it all around me now! I still love an ancient church or sacred site (I love visiting the UK as they have so many!)and find great inspiration and comfort there when I can be there alone. This has been a very good discussion, Clarice! Blessings to all of you! Love, Valarie
Guest guest
I believe the church is within. Being spiritual is a 24/7 proposition, not an hour or two a week. Going to church does not make one spiritual as many demonstrate as they curse others on their way out of the church parking lot. I have stopped going to church. My parents are not happy with this, naturally, although when I explained to my mother why the church is within me and how I live my life each day, I could see I got through to her a bit. I agree 150% about the EGO being a great presence in churches, sometimes the dominant one. Sarita , " Valarie Vousden " <vjvousden wrote: > > I totally agree, Sarita.
