I got pulled over on my way to work in a town notorious for mean cops.

I was shaking in my boots because I can count on one hand the number of

times in my life that I have been pulled over! It didn't start out

well. I was pulled over for my expired inspection sticker, which I

thought was current up until recently...ooops. THEN I handed him an

expired insurance card! I could not find my new one, although I know I

have it. He took my papers and went back to his car. I sent him a

huge wave of love even though I thought he was writing me a ticket.

After all, he was just doing his job.

Never thought he might direct some of it back to me. Not only did he

NOT give me a ticket for failure to inspect, he gave me a WEEK to fax

in my insurance card! Usually you have to go down to the municipal

complex and produce your missing papers within 24 hours or get a big

fine! He was so nice when he came back to the car and told me to have

a nice day. So no ticket, no $$. Yippee!!

WOW! I can so relate to this Sarita! I have been driving something

like 20+ years, never pulled over, then BAM in a matter of just a

couple months have been pulled over THREE times! And each time I

was " Oh my god " in my head thinking " I can't afford this!! " then, I

was let go with a gentle warning. I was beginning to wonder if I was

sending out an " beacon " of sorts, and then I got my answer,

responsibility comes with being awakenend. I needed to also check my

insurance, my registration, and my LEAD foot!! (I wasnt speeding, at

the time, but my guides had warned me to go slower!!) Just a

friendly reminder ;)

Blessings,

Laura
