Guest guest
After much agonizing, I think that I should sit out the Vernal Equinox shaktipat after all. I feel drained of energy right now and have been feeling like this for some time. This could be due to, or a cause of, depressive symptoms. Do depressive symptoms have anything to do with Kundalini? I have had these symptoms since teen years but wasn't diagnosed until 2006. I have tried medications (short-lived) and alternative methods unsuccessfully. I would appreciate your views on this. Thank you. Catherine.
Guest guest
Yes hello Catherine, Kundalini can have some depressive effects especially when one experiences much phenomena which when it subsides or goes into a plateau can make a person feel as if the Kundalini has left. A person can become somewhat addicted to this phenomena which is why I counsel to not attach too much to the " feelings " but choose to stay the course of the path as it unfolds before you. Often depression is due to emotional body issues and self worth issues that are still unresloved. Medication will cover the symptoms and perhaps allow one to lead a somewhat " normal " life but the imbalance will continue. It is no accident you are here Catherine yet if you wish to not partake of the Shaktipat this is your choice and I will honor that choice. Depression can be helped by giving service to someone other than the self. To reach out and help another or use the energies in ways that help someone up close and personal. Have you practiced the safeties? And have you had the opportunity to be of service. - blessings Catherine and I will remove your pics. - chrism , " catherineamo " <desweetvixen wrote: > > After much agonizing, I think that I should sit out the Vernal Equinox > shaktipat after all. Guest guest
Dear Chrism, Thanks for this. I will be honest and say that my practice of the safeties lately has not been constant. I just have not had the energy to do much for myself. It's all spent in taking care of others. It's been a series of highs, lows and plateaus lately. Yes, I felt that the medication was an artificial and temporary fix. I did not like the idea at all and decided against it after a few months. I will follow your suggestions and let you know how things go. I appreciate your help. Blessings.
