Guest guest
i was reviewing the website today, making sure all the safeties are fresh in my head and i read on the 3 day fast. just curious for those that have done this...it says to meditate as much as possible with breaks.....how many times do you average per day? i'm sure there is no set number, but i was just wondering how you all did with this. thanks brandyk Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
i'd say an hour in the morning and an hour at night would be the minimum. if you have extra time, add in an extra hour somewhere. if an hour is too long of a time to sit, split it into a half an hour which should'nt be too bad
Guest guest
The reason for extra prayer during fasting is that fasting is not just a bodily function but a spiritual way of removing old thought forms and belief patterns, spiritual toxins. I spend my whole day in thoughtfulness and prayer, meditating whenever I feel the urge, I set aside three whole days of alone time to spend going inward to release old patterns. I am in this process as we speak actually , my husband is away and so I am emotionally detoxing myself! It's great.
