Guest guest
I have just watched an amazing 20-minute video about a Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor, brain scientist (neuroanatomist), who had a massive stroke and recovered to tell the story and the life-changing insights she gained through the experience. It is a must-see. Blessings & love to everyone, Claudia Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.

Guest guest
Thanks Claudia, that was great viewing. I noted strongly her message that " I AM individual X with a profile of personal boundaries and differences " had to be silenced, before " I AM at one with the life force of the universe " and its accompanying euphoria and compassion became spontaneous. So perhaps the healthy left brain needs to be silenced by its own language of linear step affirmations, " I am NOT this or that " such that in retreat, and in tandem with meditative surrender, ease of access to the right brain occurs. Love - John. ========================================= Claudia wrote: " I have just watched an amazing 20-minute video about a Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor, brain scientist (neuroanatomist), who had a massive stroke and recovered to tell the story and the life-changing insights she gained through the experience. This seems to be the purpose of meditation, in order to become free of our bodies and to realize that we are not separate and that we are ONE and perhaps the illusion of duality comes from the left hemisphere.
