In the night, my body floated weightless in the featureless sky,

attracting gentle motes of snow from every angle, upward as well as

down. By morning, the ground all around was coated just the same,

delicate as icing sugar dust.

 

Later on, my Granny died. The call came just before we reached the

hospital, but it didn't matter - I could see her the moment I heard.

Flowers in her hair and beaming just like I was through the tears, I'm

not sure which of us was more delighted she was free. So glad I know!

 

Hospital was weird - my solar plexus kept deepening into a wide funnel

all the way to my back, letting out eight second gurgles over and

over. What a day to ascend, with all this magic in the air - on a

white Easter, resurrection day...

family's loss, my congrats to you and granny for knowing better what

You are such an inspiration to all of us with you beautiful positive outlook on

your experience! She is free, free at last to go Home, and like you said, no
