I need to know how the Holy Spirit is connected with Kundalini. I am

having problems understanding where Kundalini and the Holy Spirit are

one of the same or are connected with each other. I have read many

things and some are conflicting.

According to the Bible it is my understanding that when you accept

Christ as your Savior and are baptized in His name you are filled

with the Holy Spirit and when you walk the talk you are given the

power of the Holy Spirit just as it is spoken in Luke chapter 4

verses 1 and 14 when Jesus goes into the desert being FILLED with the

Holy Spirit. After He totally defeats satan after the 40 days of

fasting and of temptation Jesus comes out of the experience IN THE

POWER OF the Holy Spirit. So where in this does Kundalini fit? I can

see where the prayers, meditations, forgivenesses, trust, honesty,

service, fasting, etc. can lead you toward being in the power of the

Holy Spirit, but according to the Bible as I have said Jesus wasn't

in the power until He fasted for 40 days and nights and was tempted

by satan and defeated him. Fasting and prayer are a very vital part

in the growth of spirituality and being in the power of the Spirit

along with reading the Bible and learning about God in order to have

eternal life. So could you please explain it to me in laymen's terms

how the Kundalini connects to the Holy Spirit and if they are one how

are they!

Love,

Katherine

Hi Kat,

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here.

The Holy Spirit is present and active in many different capacities.

I've seen the creative part the Spirit plays in bringing forth

creation (Genesis), and the New Creation as well.

Imho, the experience of Shakti and Kundalini is the " creative power "

of the Holy Spirit at work again in the world. It is different from

the other functions of the Spirit, as in the Baptism, new birth, and

Gifts. It is a specific recreating power, unique from all the other

ways the Holy Spirit manifests.

My two cents! lol!

Love, dhyana

Hi Katherine, I am not chrism, but I thought I would give you my take

on it. Right before Jesus went into the desert to be alone, that was

when he recieved the water baptism from John the Baptist. We all know

that water baptism represents shedding/cleansing of our life up to

that point. (symbolicly putting to death our old selfish ego self and

then recieving a new spirit filled life for the new purpose of

serving/living for the purpose of serving others. Just as Jesus

recieved the Dove/Holy Spirit which decended upon him as he came up

out of the water the same happens with all who goes through that

process. One could look at that as the activation of the

kundialin/Shakti. The Dove representing the Holy Spirit was not

something new to the the christian religion. Going by the " Shining

Ones " book that was a concept that goes back from the beginning of

religions representing the feminine espect.

Next Jesus went into the desert for " 40 days " which I see as symbolic

(the #40 is very symbolic number, for one, it means maturation. In

other words it means he went into the desrt to complete the process

of his activation. Here the symbology of satan would represent his

ego self which he was tempted to give into, but he was able to defeat

or overcome it and by doing that he became fully awakened and

empowered to do what he came into the physical to accomplished. He

returned from the desert fully empowered and able to begain his

ministry in giving serving his follow human being.

That is the way I see it Katherine. You are not going to find it

taught that way in any christian church though. You know that.:)

Love you, Kat,

Linda

I agree Dhyana, I just realized recently from something John said on

the Holy Fire group, that the triune God, each of the three parts are

individually made of the two that is one. God the Father/Mother, The

Son/the Daughter, and the Holy Spirit. Could it be Shiva/Shakti,

male/feminine, logical/creative energy? Soul, mind and spirit.
