Guest guest
Dear LInda, Thank you for your interpretation, really appreciate it Darlin, yet I have to disagree with Satan being a symbolism of the ego when in the Bible it is told that Satan (Lucifer) was the most beautiful angel of God's creation and because of that beauty he became what we would consider conceded and wanted to rule over God and Heaven. So Satan is NOT the symbolism of our ego, no more than Hell is a perception in our minds. The Bible states hell is real as well, along with Heaven and God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Since MOST cultures, NOT ALL, use the same Bible as we do but written in their own language with a few books added or subtracted I don't think it is even listed in them as the Kundalini. I might be wrong, but if I am, I would like to see where it says it for my own benefit. Some people like Philip St. Romaine had already been saved and baptized long before being Kundalini awakened and some people who are Kundalini awakened aren't saved or baptized so I don't agree with that when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist was when He was anointed by the awakening of the K, but was anointed and the Spirit fell upon Him, God's spirit as stated in the Bible. As for the 40 days spent in the desert I don't believe that is a symbolism either. That was Jesus' test to be fully given the powers of the Spirit. He suffered and was tempted and was visited by angels while in the desert. I fully believe He lived this test from start to finish without a doubt. I don't rely solely on my church, but what is written in the Word of God. The only thing written in the Bible in rhyme, riddle, or symbolism are Jesus' teachings which were written in parables for a reason. I am no expert on the Bible by no means, but I am learning. Yes, I firmly believe in the Bible and I am a Christian and according to Chrism this applies to all regardless. So that is why I need a full explanation from Chrism on his knowledge of the connection. I value everyone's opinions, so thank you to all who give their opinions on it whether I agree or not, that is how one learns. Thank dear Linda for your love and your kindness and of course your opinions. We learn together, we grow together. Love, Katherine Linda <crazycats711 Monday, March 31, 2008 12:43:39 PM Re: CHRISM---The Holy Spirit and the Kundalini Hi Katherine, I am not chrism, but I thought I would give you my take on it. Right before Jesus went into the desert to be alone, that was when he recieved the water baptism from John the Baptist. We all know that water baptism represents shedding/cleansing of our life up to that point. (symbolicly putting to death our old selfish ego self and then recieving a new spirit filled life for the new purpose of serving/living for the purpose of serving others. Just as Jesus recieved the Dove/Holy Spirit which decended upon him as he came up out of the water the same happens with all who goes through that process. One could look at that as the activation of the kundialin/Shakti. The Dove representing the Holy Spirit was not something new to the the christian religion. Going by the " Shining Ones " book that was a concept that goes back from the beginning of religions representing the feminine espect. Next Jesus went into the desert for " 40 days " which I see as symbolic (the #40 is very symbolic number, for one, it means maturation. In other words it means he went into the desrt to complete the process of his activation. Here the symbology of satan would represent his ego self which he was tempted to give into, but he was able to defeat or overcome it and by doing that he became fully awakened and empowered to do what he came into the physical to accomplished. He returned from the desert fully empowered and able to begain his ministry in giving serving his follow human being. That is the way I see it Katherine. You are not going to find it taught that way in any christian church though. You know that.
