Guest guest
First of all Chrism, thank you! Sorry to keep the original text, but it is needed for my response to what you wrote! I am very pleased with your response. Forgive me to those who don't like it replied in this manner, but it is a must! See my response indicated by the @@@, so with that being said, once again Chrism for your outstanding explanation on this subject. Thanks Chrism, you did a fantastic job! Read my responses! <> Monday, March 31, 2008 7:34:01 PM Re: CHRISM---The Holy Spirit and the Kundalini - Katherine Please first realize that I do not mean to impugn the bible in any way. It is a sacred book of many truths and indeed as is proclaimed by many, a word of God. Not the " only " word of God in my opinion. I feel God speaks in many ways and as the wind blows and the snowflakes fall I hear the word of God in those actions as well. @@@I don't see where you have in anyway impugn the Bible now or in the past and I like you see it as a sacred book. I also believe that the Bible isn't the one " only " word of God. I believe He speaks to us through tongues unlike others. For example at church yesterday one of the Chaplain's told me that the " Baptist's " don't believe there is any reason for one to speak in tongues in our day because we have the scripture. I told him that I feel God is continually giving up information to live by today as the scripture gives us information to live by as well. He didn't agree, but hey, everyone has their own opinion. I also believe He speaks to us in many other ways as well. So too with the communications of humans. God comes to and is with all of us Christian, Buddhist, Islamist, Hindu, and Aboriginal people alike as well as all others. God speaks to all of us in the words that we are able to hear and understand. @@@I too believe He is with all, we are His creations. I believe He does speak to us in words we are able to hear and understand, but it is our responsibility to listen, which imho are through meditation and signs just to name a couple. Your question is from your understanding and interpretation of the bible as you have been taught and as has been inculcated within you. You have absolute beliefs that do not allow other perceptions or observations to come into play. @@@I do allow for other perceptions and observations to come into play or I wouldn't be here on this group. During in the beginnings, maybe, but more because of fear than anything else. My question is an understanding based question. I can see it, but I don't. Others probably feel the same as I do in not fully understanding where the connection is. As this is the case I can only use what you have given for me to use in attempting to help you understand the connection between Christ and Kundalini and God and Kundalini as is understood through the scriptures. @@@I know you can so that is why I have come to you! I know you have spoken about it before, but in briefness. I feel as if I am going through a 'spiritual warfare' in my mind and in my heart. I probably am because that is what happens when one starts advancing spiritually and it isn't liked or tolerated with out a tried intervention by evil, IMHO Satan/Lucifer. For the purpose of this explanation I must use the Holy Fire and the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Spirit to be representing of the Kundalini. And of course the bible doesn't mention the word Kundalini as that word predates much of the Christian writings and is of the Sanskriti peoples. Not the peoples of the lands of the bible. @@@I know the Bible doesn't and that is fine, I know that you have said once that it is a building so to speak to the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit, but have also referred to it as being the Holy Fire. I see it depicted in pictures of Jesus and of Saints, it makes sense for the moment and then I loose sight of it's connection. I understand the predating of the Bible and in my researching I have found many things that I won't go into that aren't included in the Bible, that might should be that once were during the Protestant Reformation. So I question why it isn't there now verses it being there following the Reformation until about the 1880's I believe, anyway, I can see that being a reason, or it being referred to in a different term. Please read St Theresa of Avila's autobiography and you can see how she works with this blessing as well. @@@I would very much love to read the book and will! I will let you know what I think about when I am done. Thanks for letting me know about it. It has also been suggested that I read about St. Romaine and I will do that as well. There are parts of the bible that are conveniently overlooked by today's Christian theologians. They will relegate to symbolism that which they do not understand and the powers of the Holy Spirit as well as the potentials of people as described by the Christ are only some of the examples of current mis-understandings. @@@I totally agree and have said as much to even Linda and to others how I have notice the Christian Theologians conveniently overlooking parts of the bible and I have been told by my sister that some of the things are only meant for the time Christ was here, but not for today, and my response to her was what you are saying is that your preacher can select what he feels you should live verses how God wants you to live. And she of course said pretty much and changed the subject. I fully believe in the powers of the Holy Spirit/Kundalini. I fully believe they apply as much as today as yesteryear's and even in the Bible it states as much. God tells us I believe in 1 Corinthians that we will be given the power to do His work for Him. I fully believe that! I believe we all have potentials for doing things that God feels we are capable of doing, some will have one gift(s) and others other gift(s). What remains of the bible after the King James version still has much truth and some of these truths are to be taken literally not as symbolisms. @@@I tried finding a facsimile of the original Geneva Bible which contains the 81 books before they were taken out, but it is impossible unless you want to pay about $1,000 or more for it. I know things are being hidden from us by man, there is no doubt. NOT just having to deal with the Bible or religion, but dabbling in all sorts of different going ons. I also know that some are to be taken literally, not symbolically. Like I said, I am no expert and will never be. I will only know all when I go Home, but until then it is my duty to try and learn as much as possible even the things that have been hidden from us by man to keep control over us, such as the Roman Catholics had done many centuries ago. Christ says " Know ye not that ye are Gods? All these things I do you can do and more... " Forgive my incorrect quotes but you can get the point. I do not see any symbolism there in those words. I see truth. @@@I know the verses you are speaking about and by the way you did an awesome job at quoting them, you are darn near close to it. WOW! Great job! For real, not being facetious! Anyway, I don't see any symbolism and I fully believe in it 100%. I like you see perfect truth! Another one brought to me recently describes the teaching by Christ about the third eye and the location of it. These are not accidental references to something other than what is being talked about whether or not it fits into nice and neat little packets of information for the masses to swallow. @@@Yes, I know the one you are referring to because I gave it to you, and I understand that, but had a hard time still connecting it to the Holy Spirit. I see that the single eye to me represents the " Third eye " and I don't see accidental either, but in my mind it is different from the Holy Spirit. Yet at the same time I see it being the entry point of the light that resides in the solar plexus. These are truths. As far as the Baptism goes what would make a person feel that this isn't the case with the Kundalini? What would make one feel that Kundalini and the Holy Spirit are different? Does the concept need to be printed in the bible, in the English words from the Aramaic words in order to " fit " into the current philosophies of contemporary Christian understandings? NO, it doesn't need to be printed in the Bible for it to be true, I just need to see a connection and how they are the same. Once again in trying to understand it as best as I can and I have put all efforts and am still putting a great deal of effort into see them as the same. Some, and I am seeing them from the points and views of others on this list, don't have the full knowledge of them being the same thing, some see them as being different, and some see the K as being a prelude to the powers of the Spirit. I frankly, can't tell you how I see it, because once I feel I understand it, someone might come along or I might read something that throws me off. These are examples of why I have asked you to go into detail for my sake to explain it as so I can understand it once and for all. Yes, it might be an ego thing, I don't know. All I know is that I feel I am in some sort of battle, especially since I am advancing like I am, so you just have to bear with me in asking you to explain something in more detail than before. I personally do not feel this needs to be validated by the limited understandings of the bible, in the limited minds of Men and Women, of the lessons given through the bible. Validation comes from experience and if a person has experience that helps them to understand Kundalini as separate from the Holy Spirit then fine I am happy with that and if a person has experiences that allows the opposite to happen them fine I am good with that too. The bible still has secrets to unfold and the time is not yet ripe for those understandings to be given. More experience for those who follow the Christian Path need to be allowed for. @@@It isn't about needing validation, it is about understanding. It is about growth! It is about the explorations of my path and the learning that comes with it. It is about desire to know, the desire to learn, the desire, to understand and to gain knowledge and wisdom. Fasting for forty days can activate the Kundalini in a person. Yet I feel Christ didn't need to have that occur as he was active " going into " the desert. There are those who come among us who are in a state of advancement compared to those they come amongst at the time they incarnate. Jesus Christ was one of those imho. I cannot prove this but I feel it. @@@I agree that there have been others since Jesus, some of the Saints IMHO and others whom I don't know of and probably will never know of. Kundalini IS the Holy Spirit in my opinion. It IS the Holy Ghost and it IS the Fire Of Christ and the Fire of God. It is all of these things. Whether or not that can fit into the current thinking of Christianity is not the point. @@@I don't think it is a matter of fitting, it is a matter of changing what has been instilled and inculcated in us since we were born and I have no problems in seeing a bigger picture, because if I did I wouldn't like I said before, be here and for such a long period of time to say the least. I wouldn't be reading and exploring and looking for a bible that existed 100's of years ago. I wouldn't be stepping out of my box opening my mouth to those who probably think I have lost my mind or talk about me behind my back (which I don't care if they do) because I feel there is more to God than what the church wants us to know and I wouldn't be telling them I believe we have powers given to us from God. They do think I am very different, some accept me as I am, others ignore me when I give them my verbal opinions and that is fine, or they share theirs and that is fine also. But as I said, I am not looking for validation, I am looking for understanding. Most Christians do not believe that they are Gods and can do the miracles of Christ and more either. So it is as it is at this time for those precious people. In Gods good time will they come into an understanding and an experience of the Holy Spirit as is described upon the body by the Kundalini. @@@I hope they do come into an understanding, as I am trying to fully do myself, and experience the Holy Spirit and as described upon the body by the Kundalini. I fully believe in the Kundalini, I know, I am experiencing it, I am enjoying it, I am inspired by it, but I am looking for answers to questions I may never find, but it doesn't hurt asking and it doesn't hurt searching. It will be up to you Katherine to make the correlations between " what you believe " the bible to be saying and what is happening to a person inside of the Kundalini. When you ask this question of the Christ what is his response? Did you do this first before you asked the question of me? - lol - Blessings of Christ and the lord God upon you dear sister - chrism @@@Yes, but did I listen? NO! Obviously, right!
