Guest guest
It has been quite some time that I have had this calling. Without much knowledge of the history of the goddess power, I felt an internal need and desire to " feed " mother Earth. Feminine " Mooning " was used for thousands of years, and suddenly stopped and abolished mostly in Europe long ago. The Aboriginal women, I believe, continue to use this belief to nourish their Earth. I plan on continuing to utilize my goddess power to feed the ground, the trees, and the garden. If you feel that inner calling as well, please don't feel it is taboo or down right grose, it isn't, in fact it is a beautiful and divine process and ability for us women to choose to do. I would love to hear some feedback from the group, even from the men! blessings to you~ http://www.ashtreepublishing.com/Book_Luna_Yoga_Blood_Mysteries.htm
Guest guest
More power to ya! It's something I've actually done a couple of times when I was younger. It took on a very connected and intimate experience for me every time I did it. Personally, I find the cycle of the woman rather fascinating. Not sure I'm willing to share any more about that. Heh. But suffice to say, I would love to do that again but my last period lasted 5 months (yes, 5 solid months) and that's too long to be sitting in any one spot, eh? It truly is a wonderful thing. Thanks for sharing this!!! Love , <pleiades69 wrote: > > It has been quite some time that I have had this calling. Guest guest
Wow Bethany, 5 months of love! Incredible, You could of fed 2000 acres of Earth by now. hehehe. If anyone wants more details on the 'How To', please email me off-list. It is a personal experience, as Bethany said, it is intimate with you and the Earth. Good for you for speaking out and being honest. You'd be surprised how many woman actually do this, and unfortunitely feel ashamed to speak of it. lisa ---- Bethany <bethany_abear wrote: > More power to ya! Guest guest
Every period I have , I take the first blood and make a red dot on my forehead, I imagined that in the ancient indian faiths, the red dot came about from women doing this blood blessing so that others would know it was their " holy time " . Probably just my fantasy but it fits. I have also tried digesting it (yuck I know, grose!) I will begin using my blood more now I think, I always knew it was sacred and I've always had powerful moon cycles. Great power. Guest guest
I find the dot on the head very intriguing Elektra. That does make sense. Thank you so much for your feedback, its good to open and communicate about the Star Fire.
