Guest guest
Hi All - a question re lessons learned in past lives. If in past lives a person advanced to a reasonably high level of spiritual development, is there any way of opening that door so as to pick up from where the soul left off instead of having to slowly re-cover much of the same ground in this incarnation? If that experience can be unlocked, it would presumably be accompanied by the knowledge, both good and bad, that accompanied gaining that experience in the first place - this would preclude making the same 'wrong' moves again as well as knowing how to do it right this time. Such a 'door opening' could accelerate both the development process and the extent of development attained by avoiding 're-runs'. Any merit in the concept? If so how does one open that door? Guest guest
That's a great question! I wish there was a way to avoid making the same mistakes again and again, lifetime after lifetime. So much effort, so much grief, so much time--why can't we just simplify? My hunch is that the more you progress on your spiritual path, the more likely you are to come back with an advanced consciousness next time around. Hence, you probably won't have to spend the first 40 years or so of your life doing all the wrong things and accumulating additional karma. But, of course, this might be just wishful thinking... Guest guest
Hi Jonrow My understanding is that the opportunity will arise for the awakening to the same level, with further opportunity for future growth. The timing will be that of the higher self, rather than the small conscious I. May I suggest you meditate on the topic and be open for an answer. blessings and love nick --- On Mon, 21/4/08, jonrow_2914 <jrowland wrote: > jonrow_2914 <jrowland > Past Life Lessons > > Received: Monday, 21 April, 2008, 10:33 AM > Hi All - a question re lessons learned in past lives. > > If in past lives a person advanced to a reasonably high > level of > spiritual development, is there any way of opening that > door so as to > pick up from where the soul left off instead of having to > slowly > re-cover much of the same ground in this incarnation?
