Guest guest
Hello Edda, Yes in addition to what Chris H and Sarita have said about this I would add that the Kundalini finger lock is conducive to bringing the energy up. Awakewning it and nurturing a balanced physiological expression. For the sake of meditation and if you are not already inside of a Kundalini experience yes you can meditate with open palms. If you are used to meditating a certain way using other mudras then please continue. I would rather have you meditating and going long and deep with it however you put your fingers. For Kundalini though I do encourage and suggest that people use the thumb tip and for finger tip pressed together as Chrs H and Sarita described and for the reasons they described. As well as the " eyes up " and " tongue up " And the chin pointing slightly downward to stretch the spine - blessings and welcome Edda - chrism
Guest guest
Chrism Thanks for your welcoming and your advice, I'll try to follow the energy flow, altough sometimes I make the locks with the fingers for half an hour, then I open my hand palms, and then I make the locks again, well I just try to follow the energy flow. Although I don't know if I am in the correct posture. I also want to know if the energy of the Siddha Yoga, is the same as that of the Kundalini, I have received the ShaktiPat of Baba Muktananda, but I don't know if its the same energy. I feel the energy in the crown chakra, moving down, maybe its another energy ? blessings Edda , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Hello Edda, > Yes in addition to what Chris H and Sarita have said > about this I would add that the Kundalini finger lock is conducive > to bringing the energy up. Guest guest
Hi Edda, Welcome to the group. To answer your question: there are so many different ways of working your kundalini. has come up with a list of suggestions that are extremely helpful, and you may want to experiment with them at least for a while. However, nothing is carved in stone. If you find that you need a slightly different practice, then that's what you should be doing. When it comes to our subtle bodies, we all share the same basic energetic configuration--and yet each of us is a bit different. It's all a matter of trying new techniques and adjusting your practice to what works for you. One last suggestion: Whatever technique you decide to experiment with, it's always a good idea to understand what it is that you are working with. As with anything else, when it comes to subtle energies, knowledge is power--and caution is a must. Sel
Guest guest
Hi Sel Thanks for your advice, I', really beginning the first steps on this path, but I have founded more easy posutres, but as you said one must be " cautious " cause we are dealing with an energy or circuit of any kind. My only problem is to roll up my eyes, so I don't do this, and it seems that my body has used to this, and I feel the flow of the energy in the same way. Some people says that one must not awaken the Kundalini, but it has to " awaken " alone, like in the jhanas meditation, but I differ from this statement, I feel that one must give it a little push. blessings Edda , " selena255 " <selena wrote: > > Hi Edda, > > Welcome to the group.
