Guest guest
Or really not so funny, how so very many people are begging for confirmation, asking the veil to be lifted, and at the very first sign of a presence from another realm they send the now " unwanted " guest away out of fear of the unknown. Without a question asked, humans often condemn first, perhaps ask later. Maybe it is a guide, or an angelic being, a teacher, or student from the other side. Someone who chose to be a part of our lives, or observe from other school. We wish to learn so much about spirit, and yet we fear the truest of our teachers, in the silence of ourself, we find they abide, waiting for the one who truly listens.. I went through that fear myself, and now from the other side I often find myself asking people what they are really afraid of ... most of the time spirit communications are utterly mundane. I don't think it is just fear of the unknown. It's a programmed fear of this specific phenomena, based on TV and movies they have seen, preachments they have endured, and in some cases, it's a reflection of an underlying ... how do I say this nicely ... a desire for attention and drama in an otherwise mundane life. If you can tell a creepy story that scares people you get more attention than if you shrug at take the spook in the corner as just another member of the family. I'm not being dismissive <g> .... because when it was first happening to me, I was a bit of a drama queen about it too. I sometimes have to remind myself about that, heh heh ... Guest guest
Very true Laura! When mediumship skills showed up, I at first wanted to run through the door without opening it. I am the quintessential scaredy cat. It took 3-4 tries before I had a dismemberment experience without completely freaking out. I am trying hard to calm myself and not let fear enter into my experiences. I am doing better, but I still have a long way to go. Thanks for the reminder! Guest guest
Sarita, I totally agree with the " running out of fear " scenerio, I too lived it, and will NEVER forget the look of pain on one of my guides faces when I called him a demon. That was when I chose to learn as much as I could. Recently I was walking on a beach, and heard a voice. She said to me " They think I am evil " I replied that I don't, then she said " They think I dont live light, I LOVE Light " she said. We have no point of reference exept other humans stories, and pictures, tails of demons, and so on. However, if we research we find that demons were once revered, as spirit helpers and guides, friends and family of the other side. Some were tricksters, few not-so-nice, most were helpful. Some of us even fear they are here to steal something from us. They have always been hear, chances are most longer than than the human race. If we treat them with respect, they will do so in kind too. Send them away in fear, you will draw the ones to you that feed on that fear. Blessings, Laura Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
Guest guest
Thanks Laura, I really love your attitude towards this. I am hoping that as said, once I break in the territory, that I won't be so scared when things happen. It really helps reading your words.
