Hope all of you Moms are having a wonderful Mother's Day! I certainly

am!

 

I wanted to share with you a couple of truly wonderful and marvelous

things that happened to me!

 

For about a month, I have been a member of the Praise Band at my

church and thoroughly enjoying it! What an awesome way to be close to

God and to Jesus Christ! It is remarkable the feelings I experience

while I sing praise and worship Them! Well today at practice before

church services began I was standing on the highest part of the stage

while we practiced when a fellow member of the band enter. I went to

give him a hug and totally forgot about the two steps down to where

he was. Mind you, I had on 2-inch heels! LOL! Anyhow, I went to walk

over to him and fell down the steps twisting my feet royally at the

ankles! I mean really twisting them, I could feel them turn in

several different ways. I tried to catch myself from falling but

didn't have anything to grab onto to help stop my fall! This is the

BEST part God literally caught me! I landed on bottom of both feet in

a squat position and my legs spread apart just enough to stop me from

wobbling and falling to the ground! The funny thing about it is that

no one on the stage saw me except the person I was walking to and a

couple of other members. One of my friends down in the pew area saw

me though. Anyway, when I stood up my ankles hurt, but the pain

shortly abated. So HALLELUJAH, praise God for catching me literally!

 

Second thing! While I sing giving praise to God I almost always feel

His mighty and powerful presence and at times I have a full rush of

the Holy Spirit flow down through me. Well this time it was the most

powerful experience ever! We were singing during the Offering as we

always do! Today we were singing " The Potter's Hand " ! While singing

it I felt the utmost power of love and the Holy Spirit filtrate me! I

started crying as I sang and my entire body became shaky and my legs

started shaking to the point where I felt I might not be able to

walk! It was the most glorious experience I have ever in my entire

life experienced! I can't even begin to tell you in human words what

it was like! It was AWESOME, GLORIOUS, AND MARVELOUS! Since my

experience all I want to do is jump for joy and I constantly want to

give thanks to my Lord for all that has happened to me, both the good

and the bad, the happy and the sad! I feel like a little child

accomplishing something for the very first time and feeling glorious!

 

My day has been one wonderful and exceptional Mother's Day! My hubby

is gone, but I have God and my boys! I have my family and friends!
