Guest guest
Thank you for your reply chrism. I'll let you know that I knwo what I am doing. I know how to read my psychiatrist better than she knows how to read me. I know how this psychiatrist works so I'm gonig to stick with her and play it like her; be very logical, analytical, rational, and left brained just like her about whats going on and what I would like to do. I figure that this will give her a better connection with me and get her to not place too many false projections on me. If its an ego problem, which it is, than they will only listen to you if you are like them. I'm not really changing myself, i'm just expressing myself in a way that they will understand. It's like speaking in a different language, its the same words, just different language... a language that she knows. I thought that if I just faced her, with no grudges, but had a very nice and honest connection with her than i will get her to understand and listen. I thoguth about this when I was frusterated with her and thinking about leaving her, I thoguht, " should I run away? or should I take this as a challenge? Is this a test? " Shes taking her time to get me off of lithium because shes waiting for my information from other doctors about my past. It's taking a while to get my files. What I'm going to do is prove to her with my honesty, my observations of my past, and my understanding of psychology that I never had a disorder because just about everything I've been through happened with reason for me to act in certain ways in my past. These psychiatrists know that all these " disorders " happen with reason, but yah you're right, they just want us to stick around their offices for the rest of our lives to get our medication fixes. Well thats not going to happen with me. They are dealing with a patient that finally started reading psychology, I can see there game a bit better now. *hearts*, drea , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Hello Drea, > Many MDs do not like to see their patients come off the > drugs they have precribed.
