Guest guest
I learned something very valuable today. Helping others doesn't mean just helping them providing service to them. It means being there for them not matter what and ministering to them the love of God and the love of Jesus Christ. I found that out today when I went on my routine journey to Melbourne to drive my client to the doctor's office. As most of you know I have been working on starting a non profit for quite some time and although there have been many obstacles and I have questioned it's existence I know now that it is meant to be. I have a client that was once homeless and about 5 months ago I started working with her trying to help her with the essential things that life brings. She goes quarterly to a facility and sometimes things come up she needs my help. I have been trying diligently to get her to sign a release form so that I can, but she wouldn't allow it. I have to say that she has some medical conditions that she needs medications for and without them, she can really get herself into some trouble. Any today on our way over to her appointment I was singing " Amazing Grace (my chains are gone) " in preparation for Sunday's service at church because I am a member of the band. Suddenly I felt an overwhelming urge to tell her that Jesus loves her. She agreed, but then said " well maybe " . I told her that Jesus loves her no matter what she does; she then started crying. She cried all the way to the appointment. Well at the appointment I was trying to help her with some issues and the receptionist wouldn't even talk to me and very rude and ugly. I told my client that she needed me to sign a release form so that I could help her, without hesitation she told the receptionist she wanted to sign a release form so I could help her. We did what we had to do and headed back to her house. Every time I take her home I pray with her; today was NO exception. While I was praying I could feel the power of God and Jesus Christ in my truck, then she started praying and let me tell you, there is nothing more powerful than what I experienced today, or at least I haven't experienced it as of yet, but I tell you there are LITERALLY NO WORDS to describe the Power of God's and Jesus' presence as I have experienced today. I know without doubt that God is in the process of working His plan for her and for me. I can't exclude myself because I know it is just as well for me as for her. I am walking with God and with Jesus Christ and They are walking with me. I can't seem to give enough gratitude and joy to Them in expression of what They have done for me and will do for me. Most importantly, I have learned that even though you may go to God in prayer and ask Him for something; it won't always be right away. I have been praying for several months now, but I didn't give up! I know without doubt He has been working His plan all along for the goodness of not only my client, but also myself. What a fantastic feeling to know that God and Jesus are always with you even if you don't feel Them. Giving service to those in need is so powerful and so rejoicing and so wonderful and fulfilling! Guest guest
Katherine, it is always so inspiring to read your posts. God is truly working through you in a very powerful way. You are a living, walking example of the " indwelling of the Holy Spirit, " which is one way in which Kundalini has been described. God is blessing you and blessing the people around you THROUGH you. Thank you for sharing this awesome experience. I can't wait to read the next one! Blessings & love, Claudia Katherine <katsam19 wrote: I learned something very valuable today. Guest guest
Great story Kat, very inspiring, your hard work is paying off and so is your client's hard work paying off for her also, you seem to make a good team. I agree that the most important thing one can do for a fellow being is to unconditionally love them as God does so they can clearly see God through you, to speak of Gods love and wrap them up in it! SUPPORT. I also like to try and find ways of expressing it for those aetheists in the bunch, I believe love is the best way to explain God in any language to anyone without saying a word. Well done Sis, great job! Proud of you. Love and blessings Lektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail.
