hi melissa,

thanks ...yea i realize that. i just take 10 mg once a day.

 

i had planned to call the doctor who prescribed it for instruction but i welcome

anyone's thoughts.

If I could interject here . . . . it is always wise to do a slow

wean; don't just stop all of a sudden. What is your dose currently?

thanks melissa! that's kind of what i was thinking. i will try that. i had been

very diligent about taking it...but in the last couple weeks for some reason i

have forgotten to take it several times. i always take it at night because of

the way it made me feel through the day when i took it in the morning. so when i

missed taking it at night i just waited till the next night to take it. so the

levels in my body right now might be even lower. a lot of the stress i was going

through when i agreed to start taking it is gone now so i think i can do with

out it.

Hi Debra -

 

I am not a psych doc, but I have taken a few people off

anidepressdants before. I would cut in half for a couple of weeks;

if that goes well, cut in half again (literally cut the pill), then

stop. Luckily you are at a low dose so it shouldn't take long.
