Introduction and Request for Shaktipat

Hello Chrism,

 

I am new to the list. I would like to introduce myself and thank you

for offering the solstice shaktipat. I wish to participate in the

shaktipat. I have posted my photo to the group and have started

practicing the safeties.

 

I am 47 years old and happily married with a nine year old son. I

have been involved to varying degrees with meditation and spiritual

practice since I was about 10 or 11. I have studied with several

spiritual teachers over the years. My inner and outer lives are

grounded and stable.

 

I have been lurking on the list for a while and studying the K

Awakening website material. Since I've been doing this, I find my

levels of general happiness, ability to meditate, and ability to

practice mantra and mindfulness throughout the day have noticeably

increased. So I seem to have stumbled into the right energy field

for me at this time in my journey.

 

I understand that I am asking to begin a permanent, ongoing,

transformative experience. I am not looking for a quick fix or

energy boost – I want Shakti to become active and take over the

direction of my spiritual development. I understand that the process

of accelerated spiritual evolution includes accepting responsibility

and facing whatever attachments and karmas I may be carrying – I am

willing to gratefully allow Shakti to do her work and I am willing to

perform the inner and outer disciplines necessary to provide balance

on this journey.

 

Please assess my situation, and if appropriate, include me in the

upcoming shaktipat. I intend to use this energy for my own

spiritual development and to help others when appropriate

opportunities arise. I give you permission to place a scatterfield

on my aura. I agree to practice the safeties as prescribed.

 

I understand that the decision to request the shaktipat is my own --

however, I have also discussed it with my wife, since, due to our

close relationship, there may well be some overflow of transformative

energy into her consciousness. She understands this possibility and

is prepared to accept and deal with it if it occurs.

this stream of energy through the web sites and the .
