Guest guest
Hello all It's been about seven days now since kundalini has started intensive working at my third chakra and causing intense shortness of breath . Today I can still feel the energy working almost non stop but my breathing has been released some and I am able to take deeper breaths . I'm sure kundalini is removing blockages and in time my physical expression will change with these blockages being removed . I am sure my third chakra was blocked completely and this is why I am having so much extensive work going on in that area . I am a very shy person with somewhat low self esteem and not outgoing at all . I am sure this will all change in time after my third chakra begins to open with no blockages . One lesson I have learn is not to take breathing for granted . I have never taken full deep breaths as a part of normal activities and only when doing breathing exercises . Seven days now my breathing has been almost to the point of a non stop hyperventilating shortness . This lesson has been a good one for me and for now on I will consciously remember to take full deep breaths until it becomes natural to me . Guest guest
Hi Chris, - I'm not sure that the awakening Kundalini reverses the basic building blocks of personality - our natures are what they are. My limited experience suggests that a quiet, studious observer will probably not become an impulsive, extroverted risk-taker and vice versa, not at least in the long term BUT there are many exceptions. About 20 years ago, I recall joining a Kundalini class in which there was a rather shy elderly lady who spoke of having led a reclusive, sheltered family life. I was amazed at the change when her Kundalini took hold. She became a magnificent orator and when she spoke of the goodness that was flooding her heart, people were spell-bound and some were moved to tears. I think that she had either gained spontaneity of charismatic self-expression as a siddhi (or special gift) OR, perhaps, a series of inhibiting blockages that had obscured her natural outgoing nature, had been removed. Interestingly though, she later moved on to a solitary path and has become quite a contemplative choosing a marathon journey of self- exploration. Shakti has a wonderful - and different - agenda for each of us. Love - John. ====================================== Chris_H wrote: " Hello all ............. Guest guest
unrelated to Kundalini.. if you want to break your shyness and low self esteem.. I HIGHLY recommend you find a book called Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz - if you read and follow some of the things in that book, I have no doubt you can change those thing.. if you want to. Guest guest
Hi again, Chris H. - Matt's references to books tackling issues of low self-esteem and communication, make a lot of sense. Facing my fears by enrolling in a Rostrum Course (similar to America's Toastmasters), where I was, very gently, led through the steps of ''thinking out loud'' helped to rescue me from a career crisis at the time. Love - John.
